Just picked up myself a Nikon D90 the other day. It already appears much better than the Canon 600D I have in quality. Thanks for the brief run-down man. Just put my ISO down to L1. Will play around with the aperture now.

I really like using my D90 with the 18-200 as a walk about set up. I use aperture priority most of the time with multi mode metering, I’ll check with spot metering in a tricky situation if I need to

I just got my D90, I have 2 lens and both work only in M mode😂 any tips, on getting crispy photos

By relying on spot metering most probably you'll get most of your pictures underexposed (in their largest part). I was trying to rely on „center weighted” mode and I experienced that effect, since it is more „highlights protective” than usual „multi” mode. Spot metering is at least as protective or even a little stronger.

What is the best modern equivalent of the Nikon D90? What settings would you use on it for Aurora photography? I’ve only got this, no money really for a new body. I use Manual Mode for Aurora photgraphy, but struggle because my eyesight is worse with it now. So it’s shoot and hope for the best…...
