I used to watch a show with my Mother called Rosemary and Thyme . What does it do for cooking . Im unfamiliar with it for cooking purposes. Whats does it taste like individually and using it together
@RoseOatley

Rosemary is a versatile herb commonly used to add flavor to a variety of dishes. It has a distinct pine-like aroma and a slightly peppery, lemony flavor. When used individually, rosemary can enhance the taste of meats such as lamb, beef, poultry, and pork. It is also a great addition to roasted vegetables, soups, stews, and even bread. When used in combination with thyme, the flavors complement each other well. Thyme has a slightly earthy and minty flavor, which pairs nicely with the piney and citrusy notes of rosemary. Together, they create a harmonious blend of flavors that work well in dishes like roasted chicken, grilled vegetables, marinades, and sauces. Hope this helps!

@@RoseOatley gonna have to try separately , then both together . Single all alone family dont care if I'm alive . Soon to be homeless living in multiple motels til I'm out of money . Trying to try different ways of making food instead of takeout but steaks etc so expensive now. Gotta eat good before I am asking for money on the street , unfortunately 😢 Cause I'm not worth a couch or recliner or bed to sleep on with my family. I don't know how they sleep at all . I could never turn anyone away in that situation.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through such a challenging time. It's great that you're exploring different ways to save money on food. Sometimes we have to make temporary adjustments. I understand how challenging it can be when faced with financial difficulties. I've been through tough times myself in the past and had to work multiple jobs to make ends meet until things got better. For me, asking my family wasn’t an option I was willing to do but every situation and individual is different. I know job hunting can be tough, but with determination and perseverance, anything is possible. Remember that taking care of yourself is important, so please make sure to prioritize your well-being. I would also recommend reaching out to a food bank and church. Perhaps the can help get you through this tempo hump. Sending prayers your way.

Whats differenes with steak ? Of the ones ive had, i like and prefer, Rib eye - bone in.
@RoseOatley
@RoseOatley Ай бұрын
Ribeye steak, particularly bone-in ribeye, is known for its rich flavor and tenderness due to the marbling of fat throughout the meat. The bone-in ribeye offers even more flavor as the bone contributes to the taste during cooking. Compared to other cuts like filet mignon or sirloin, ribeye typically has a more pronounced beefy flavor and a juicy, succulent texture that many people love. Its generous marbling makes it very flavorful and tender when cooked to perfection.

Sirloin is a cheap cut of meat. Cooking it on a skillet with a piece of meat that’s not as marbled it’s gonna be as tough as shoe leather no matter how you sear it.

Mine always come out great. I think the problem is a lot of people tend to overcook them. I usually get prime when buying sirloin and yes you want some marbling on it.
