Such a good review. I love how you said that the AG would be like 80% effective on natural ground pitches, yet 95-100% on AG fields. Whereas you would never want to risk the FG version on any AG pitch. So for a lot of people it makes more sense or go for the AG version. Well said man!! 👏🏽👏🏽

Had the same issue. Tried the black superfly, blue vapors, and both were rubbing my toes. I bought a black vapor after sending the other two back, and no problem with the toe area. All of these were in the same size. I tried sizing up but the fit was rubbish, too loose.

Hey Noah are you good at doing rainblow flicks? if so could you please include if the boots are rainbow flick-able? i bought the phantom gx 1 based on your recommendation and i found that they are hard to do rainblow flicks in due to the gripknit not running until the heel and the heel being rlly slippery some boots like the speedflow.1 are super hard to rainbow in as well because of the external heel counter i find that i can consitently rainbow in indoor boots and ive only seen people rainbow in some pairs such as the morelia neo 3,4 (jfootball)(ik it has a heel counter) and mercurials i love your reviews and i think things like rainbow flick-ability or if its nice to trivela (or other unique skills that players do) will be a great addition to your reviews thank you!

How do keep clean the white Nike gripknit? It’s hard to clean it with a soft toothbrush and soap. The dirt is hard to remove and after 4 or 5 scrubs I just get less than a decent clean. Your thoughts.

I would go fix your shin splints mate, no boot is going to "fix" them. Most likely you'll need to start doing some exercises and other preventative work to sort those out first. Consult a PT or doctor!

It does! And yeah, other than the obvious difference in the Air Zoom, the stud pattern feels really similar - one of my favorites!

Thanks for your answer mate. I am playing on mizuno’s on fg pitches mostly and think they are very comfy, no stud pressure or whatsoever. I always used to play on mercurials but i did not like the stud pressure especially on dry fg pitches or ag pitches. Will buy and try the ag mercurials and see how they feel 🙌🏼

Nike is so strange… i got the new mbappe version in fg and the light blue boots in sg in the same size. Don‘t know why but they made the volume of the toe box much lower on the sg model and they don‘t fit me! Is the volume of the toe box between fg and sg the same? You have the blueprint and the blue boots in ag so you could campare them please🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you! I didn't feel toooo much of a difference, no... that being said these are also the superflys so generally will fit 1/2 % tighter because of the collar. I'll definitely do some side by side comparisons for the play test or one month review to come up with a definitive answer for you

Had both the black and blue ones side by side. Ended up sending both back as the upper was rubbing pretty aggressively against my big toe, and sizing up the fit was too loose. I decided to give the black ones another chance as I got them heavily discounted and the fit was perfect, wore it straight into a match. Very tiny space at the front but no toe rubbing. Very inconsistent in terms of sizing, I tried 3 different pairs so that was annoying. The material is slightly different between the black and blue. Black feels more premium whilst blue felt slightly plasticky. Also on the colourway, if they went with the Phantom or Tiempo blue I would've gone for that as it looks awesome. This Icy blue just didn't do it for me, especially on the soleplate which doesn't look right. They should've chromed it like they did on the Blueprints. The air zoom is cool, but I do prefer the more grounded feel you get from a Puma MG outsole or a turf shoe. Also do feel it needs more structure, but I guess that's the trade off. These are the only Nike boots I fit into going true to size. Didn't fit in the Mercurial 15's nor the phantoms/Tiempos.

@@KnowledgeableServant best advice I can give after trying so many shoes and still not finding the perfect one is buy the one that fits you best. Out of these two I prefer the Ultra 5 as it's more comfortable for me. Air zoom is interesting, but doesn't do much for me. Grip control pro is as sticky as gripknit.
