This was the best and most epic troll on the music industry!!! Everyone complained that Ben said Rap wasn't music but then he was rapping when they should have seen it as Tom was able to change Ben's mind. I knew when I watched the interview Ben did of Tom and Ben joked about being on a song with Tom and Tom saying that if Ben had some hot bars he needed off his chest that Tom would happily put Ben on a song that this collab was coming.... You could literally see Tom's excitement that Ben opened the door for it and you could see Tom already thinking about angles I swear!!! You gotta watch the interview if you haven't already! It was funny watching haters react to this and them saying it was a grift and all this other BS and just not getting the joke of Ben Shapiro getting a #1 Billboard plaque for Rap and they were up against the Nicki Minaj diss track to Megan Thee Stallion and the Megan Thee Stallion diss towards Nicki.... The labels put out 4 different versions of each of those diss songs but they all counted TOGETHER for the song - so you could buy 4 versions of the song and the numbers each version did were pooled to try to push to get the #1 spot) and Tom put out 1 version and they got the #1 in Rap! Tell me the music industry labels weren't pissed that they couldn't beat Tom and Ben with 4 songs numbers combined!😂😂😂 Tom told Ben to slow down his talking in order to rap, lol!

This song was so controversial somehow that Tom ended up on Piers Morgan and Talib Kweli from Mos Def and DJ Vlad were on a panel..... It was crazy the things Talib was saying about Tom when he didn't know anything about Tom really... You should check that out as well. The mainstream rappers were all up in arms which is funny cuz they didn't say anything any other time Tom has dominated the Billboard charts - it's only cuz Ben was on the song and people didn't understand that Tom was trolling cuz they obviously don't care about listening to independent artists cuz they think that their only competition is other mainstream artists.... That's quickly changing between Tom and Ren both able to get #1 albums and able to do numbers and both of them allow reactors to react to their music cuz they both understand it's free marketing, they both are making huge changes to the way an independent artist can make their own videos, be their own producer, play their own instruments, make and sell their own merch, building their communities and streaming live with chats so they can connect with their fanbases.... Tom, Ren and Ronnie Radke are my top 3 artists and they all have similar qualities as far as marketing strategies, reactions, being accessible to their fans, appreciating their fans, etc... Tom and Ronnie are both hated by the mainstream artists and labels, are both considered controversial for speaking their minds and not backing down, they both love wrestling so they used the hate to become the "heel" of their scene -the villain, they used the hate and I'm controversy to get more and more famous, etc. Ren is just really starting to get traction over the last 18 months but he's starting to get trolls and people that hate him and his music but the Renegades love him so much that they bury the people that are trolling before Ren can even respond, lol. I just think they are all craving their own paths but that what all 3 are doing has revived music for a lot of people and is showing people that you don't have to sign your soul and life over to these big labels to make it.(Ronnie is under Epitaph Records but that's an independent label and Ronnie is in charge of everything that has to do with his music and his band... The label pretty much just does the booking for tours and all the mundane stuff that Ronnie doesn't want to deal with)

#HOG in the house. So there is much to say about when this was released. But it all started with this interview by Ben of Tom after DIRTY MONEY. And he had both Nikki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion drop the same day. At the end of a Billboard week, which is Fri-Thurs, i believe Tom had about 10 million KZbin views, over 2 million more than the industry artists. And Tom had hundreds of thousands of comments, we they didnt have as much. Despite that, by Tue, FACTS was trending #3, and the other two artists were showing 1 & 2. Not only that, the labels were so embarraed, they took what had been previously digital charting, which included buys on Amazon and iTunes i think or Apple, but they started putting that info behind a pay wall, so the general public could not compare sales. Tom and Ben were really in the running to be #1 in the big chart, the Top 200, But they played games. Tom still received 3 # 1 i think, but they were really top dogs that week. But a second event happened that was a disruption. UPCHURCH, A very good artist of country rap and lyricist, who Tom had featured on a song of his with Struggle Jennings, called TRAVELLER'S, Dropped a distrack on Tom in the middle of his promtion called WHY BOYS. Most thought Tom and him were on good terms. And i believe Tom didnt have any issues. But Church had been for the previous 9 months doing shorts complaining about Tom, but most of it seemed petty. When he dropped the distrack, he was doing at least 4 additional rants on Tom, making accusations with no evidence. He dropped a couple other distracks in the following weeks. But he was saying Tom is Canadian, he shouldnt be speaking on American issues, that he was fake and an industry plant, that he was only doing it to get rich, he didnt believe any of what he said in his songs and that his infatuation about trans issues made him transphobic. And because FACTS was being played on reaction channels , a very argumentative and negative minority of the Creek Squad, was flooding the channels that were reacting to this song, spewing all kinds of lies without proof. It was a very hard time. I dont argue with folks, but many do. Church even did a vid of a reaction channel, OTB REACTS i think attacking it. In the distrack, Church used the N word. He was a blackman and had stated he didnt like that he did that. Next thing you know, Church is calling out that reactor and any who questioned him. Then the followers , which was a small but toxic minority of Church fans, would go and just cause chaos in livestreams and comments. Toms reponse was in GOD MODE, but i believe WE AIN'T COWBOYS also is directed at Church. Lots happened with this vid.
