I have an FTR 1200, read somewhere the US used to have a genre of "mud bikes" racings like 80 years ago which Indian tried to make with this one... AMAZING BIKE, I LOVE IT. And bought it on the spot knowing nothing about it. My best gamble yet

Indain definitely has the better idea/design vs the harley livewire del-mar. The two look very similar but NOONE wants a $25k electric p.o.s, give that ftr any day!

@Kevin Libby indian already has something comparable to the sportster, the scout. The livewire delmar and ftr are almost identical in looks. The only difference is gas vs. electric, which is probably the most important comparison right now, considering some want to ban gasoline engines. I've owned harleys my entire life and still do, but indian has the better design and harley $#!+ the bed. No real motorcycle rider buys electric, not enough range, and not enough charging stations, too long to charge. Any motorcycle sportsters/softtails/ even a yamaha virgo and sport bike are capable of multiple hundreds of mile road trips. With Electric, you spend more time looking for a charger and charging than you do riding. Oh and both companies released the ftr and the delmar as thier "flat track bikes" 🤷 sounds pretty comparable.

The Indian ftr is pretty fast, but my 2015 Kawasaki KLR 650 with a 705 big bore kit with a fmf powercore 4 or Q4 fmf exhaust sounds more deeper/more of a beast than that bike does... And it ain't cause of that wind either lol 🤣 a Honda shadow with cobra pipes sound better/louder than any exhaust on an ftr. Sounds almost like the sound of a slip on exhaust on the new vstrom 800 they came out with.
