This show was solid gold. The writers and actors did their homework. Tactics, weapon manipulation, comms, movement, etc. The bloodshed was frequent but it never went overboard. The firefights were complicated and desperate, often hopeless, and never neat and tidy. Just a great show.

NOT ONLY THAT, BROTHER. You can see bullets from weapons, are going out, when shooting. Reloading, changing weapons, you can hear bullet drops, with every one shot. Only those sounds are little bit quiet, but i guess it is cause budget.

1:32 “You Navy boys like to swim, right?!!!”. That’s one of the few references to Stonebridges Royal Marine and SBS past. I always thought it was awesome he was in the SBS. It’s a special forces unit that doesn’t get nearly the attention or admiration of others like the SAS or the Navy SEALs.

the American grew up down the street from me In Montana(Belgrade/Bozeman area). We both did "the Patriot"(Mel Gibson) as glorified extras. He went on to a acting school in London and I went to act in LA. He got a lot further along than I did. lol edited alone to along.

He doesn't swim as fast, he waits and times it just right so he can catch the boat at starboard when it circles around. Timing is something special forces learn and practice otherwise he might've come at the back of the boat and become fish food..

Phantom Apprentice timing or not he's swimming under the boat while it's about two meters upper his head and it's moving 3/5 meters for second, so it's pretty impossible to reach the boat's side and catch it in time and so easily. Btw this scene is awesome and I love this serie.
