I am just starting my pressure washing business, I have a 2.5gpm 3600 psi, would that surface cleaner work or what type of surface cleaner do you recommend for me or should I get a higher gpm pressure washer?

I thought you should use a surface cleaner at the ratio of 4” per gpm of the PW. I have a 4.2 gpm PW so this would be too big right? Would get streaks is my understanding

The rule of thumb is 4 inches of surface cleaner per 4 gallons per minute of Pressure Washer but if you use a pre-treat with sodium hyperchloride you could use a larger surface cleaner. My recommendations is not going larger than a 20 inch surface cleaner with a 4 gallon per Pressure Washer. On a 4gpm machine, the tip size should be 1.5 orifice, right? GP doesn't make those size tips.

I didn't know you could run that size surface cleaner with a 4 gpm. I was thinking it was 4" of surface cleaner per gallon of pump.

Yes you can use it if you pre-treat your concrete first with sodium hypochlorite

It's very possible you will need to change your tips. Do you know if the tips that are currently in the unit are spraying correctly?

Question I just got a surface cleaner and the bar moved up and down on me as a came not tight out of the box do u now the correct height of the middle that holds the bar?

You should be able to spin the bar until it is hand tight and then usually another half a turn to target down

Hi Billy I remember you telling your chicken killing mistake early on. I have a house wash next week with chickens 30 yards away from the house, do you think I will be ok with the normal mist that can pick up on a windy day? Any precautions I can take?

Yes any type of birds or chickens would be very sensitive to sodium hypochlorite. You will need to shield the chicken cage with a tarp if you think some may drift in that area. I would definitely talk to the homeowner
