Best Sushi in Japan? - Endo Sushi (Osaka, Japan Vlog 2)

This quite possibly could be the best sushi in Japan/the World! Don't quote me on it but damn it was some good sushi. Today we spent our last full day in Osaka and ate lots! First we spent an early morning at Endo Sushi in the Central Osaka Fish Market before heading to Nipponbashi Den Den town! We continued on exploring Osaka with a trip to Dotonbori to eat some takoyaki and a visit to Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine. We finished the night off with some Kushikatsu in Shinsekai and another Izakaya for a Tuna feast!
We ate and did a lot today.

Hello fellow Canadians! Good balance of context shots with explanation. The first time I visited Japan, I went to Osaka first. Definitely yummy food in Osaka. It is known as the 'stomach of Japan' for good reason!

I tried sushi in Kanazawa quite good, will have to try in Osaka. I did try kushi katsu and love it!! In Dontonbori there are many back restaurants that do Okonomiyaki so good! Awesome vid brings back great memories! :)

Damn that sushi looked great! We've just been in Japan and this is making us miss it so much! How was the fish market? We have a friend also go to the Osaka market and said it was really interesting and you could just walk around where ever you want? We didn't visit but we did do the tuna auction in Tokyo and then have sushi there. It was a pretty amazing morning and the sushi there blew our minds also. Love it how the ticket people pop out from behind the machines! 😂 Great video Luke!

That looks delicious! You guys would enjoy Gong Gang Fish Market in Pingtung County, and if you are in Taiwan next year check out the Toro Festival next Jan! Most of the bluefin tuna in Japan are caught actually by Taiwanese boats, and they sell the best stuff abroad to fetch top dollars.

Dude I'm so stupid. Why didn't I ever think to hit up the Osaka fish market?! I'd always sit in lines up at Tsukiji in Tokyo and u just walked up to that sushi restaurant like nothing. Im definitely doing this on my next trip.

I really liked your video. I was super pumped for Endo Sushi. I got off the flight from Incheon.. wrestled for 3 hours with the ridiculous train system. Walked a mile in super hot sticky weather to something like an abandoned warehouse. I found a teeny tiny place that hand a small poster that said Endo Bangkok on it. Got a table in like 5 minutes. Got $50 worth of 16 pieces of sushi. I was super bummed. The wasabi had no flavor. I expected amazing flavors in my fish and seafood. It tasted like sushi I would get it at any high end mall in America. I think you over sold it. I am super excited to find the best Sushi in Japan. If you have found it since.. halllla. Keep up the rockin videos!

I really need to know where's the last izakaya you went to. I live in japan, but im like 2 hours away from osaka. I've been to tokyo, kyoto, nagoya, nara, etc. But osaka will always have a special place in my heart. The food, the place, the atmosphere, everything is amazing!! Endo sushi's head chef was really nice! His restaurant was actually closed for some filming when I went. But after finding out that I had cluelessly queued for a long time outside, he let me in and served me personally while filming was still going on behind me!

Hey Jake! Awesome I think you'll have an awesome trip. Luke's lobster is in both Tokyo and Osaka if I'm not mistaken... I can't remember exactly where it was but its easy to look up! It was in a covered street which are common in Osaka! I would recommend it was awesome but a little expensive! Thanks for watching and have a great trip!

Nope.. it was near dotombori. I really don't know how to explain where it was but it was right on the corner of one of the covered streets. It has an outdoor area that is kind of like a tent and then the indoor area, outside were some tuna heads..... OH also it was right across the street from a place selling Taiyaki, the little fish shaped cakes... I hope that helps!

haha honestly wasn't the easiest place to find, luckily endo sushi in Japanese is "ennnndo susiii" with a Japanese accent. Taxi driver should be able to take you there. If you're like us and go early the public transport won't be able to get you there as it won't be running that early, so taxi is best bet. Walk around the fish market for a while and look for like a big parking lot and it will be there with a few other restaurants

Hello Luke, sorry to say but Osaka is not the best place to eat sushi. The sushi famous around the world is actually edomae-sushi. which means Tokyo sushi. Osaka has different style sushi traditionally. Even only by watching the video, I can easily see that the neta=sashimi and the rice is separated. Obviously the person who made it does not have years of proper training. Off course, by the location, all those sashimis must be good ones. it makes you feel like it's the best sushi. But sorry to say, it's wrong. If you wanna eat osaka-zushi= oshizushi, osaka should be the place but never edomae-sushi. there are few good edomae-sushi restaurants in Osaka, too but the place you visited is not, clearly.
