Cool. Rom Hacks I recommend right now are Inclement Emerald which is similar to Radical Red, and speaking of Radical Red, it just got updated big time where now you can pick a starter from any generation at Oak's lab, and for each of these hacks I of course recommend Mudkip though you can pick up every starter at some point during each hack. Then there's PokeMon Unbound where the 3 starters are Gible, Larvitar, and Beldum. That one I recommend Beldum because it evolves earlier than the other 2, and it doesn't have a 4x weakness unlike the other 2.

From what I understand. You cannot have a team of six on your journey to defeat Emerald Kaizo. All the gym leaders have a team of six. And a lot of trainer have competitive move sets everywhere you go. So you are doing to need some some more Pokémon to help you on your journey. You can make an argument to use this best team for the Elite four and Champion, but for the a majority of the game. You cannot win with a limited number of Pokémon. Also the physical and special split doesn’t apply to this rom game. So you have to deal with old type mechanics pre gen 4.

Wynaut doesn't evolve anymore in newer versions of kaizo. Only found out after a days worth of hatching and resetting until I got the desired nature. For anyone that wants this pokemon, there is still a way to get it. Its in the mirage tower (either the 3rd or 4th floor), bring a pokemon with sweet scent as the encounter rate is low, the bellsprout from petalburg woods learns it at level 11.

I have none of these lol. I am at the 7th gym. Notice you can get a Bagon at the desert tower (wish I had known this). So far my best team members have been Spinda, Chimecho and Typloshion. But I acknowledge I need to improve the team very much. Spinda is quite easy to play with and has good cover + fake out. Chimecho is used to t-wave+recover+safeguard+psychic. Blaze for speedy Typloshion. I use adamant Swamper for earthquake but grass checks make it useless in many battles, specially the magma grunt which was very tedious.

I think charmander is actually one of the worst things to get in Petalburg, a 4x rock weakness as charizard's not very good in this region. Blaziken is one of the 2 options to go for as starters as Blaziken helps really well against Steven especially his Jirachi and Metagross. The benefit with Treecko however is that your early game will be more consistent.

@@naveedahmedny Ehh, somewhat. Dusclops of course, best mon in the game, and Swellow cause it can sweep so many fights. Slowbro is the best staller. Treecko, duh, that's the starter. But Lanturn, while making Wattson much easier, isn't absolutely necessary for that fight, or much of the game. And Wobb is really more of a backup option for more difficult fights than a first-bring.

@@pkmntrainerian1092 I wouldn't really call clops the best mon in the game, even in e4 most clops can't kill mew2 with sball into sneak and just dies to crit. Best mon in the game would probably be swellow, if it has decent attack. Treecko is not the most obvious starter, manipped chicken's always come to e4 and I have only seen very few chicken e4's wipe. Lanturn is pretty essential for wattson split and pretty amazing for rain splits and gym 8. And wob is one of the more common brings for e4 cuz it can take down some heavy threats like zam, latios, meta and mew2. You have to risk crit for latios, meta and mew2 and need really good def for meta and mew2 but except for zam and meta, the other two mons always risk crits

Personally, I think Slowbro should be more of a stall pokemon since it’s quite literally, the best stall Pokémon in the game with Shell Armor, recycle, and slack off. With a leppa berry, if you time your recycled correctly, you have infinite PP and theoretically stall forever.

Interesting choice. However I think Swampert is equally as good because of Swift Swim and acess to Ancient power which helps to take down Glacia. But yeah Sceptile is the best for me as well and instead of Slowbro I used Starmie and to great sucess. It was incredible. Also I used the Pseudo's of Salamence and Metagross and those two are worth it.

Actually not a bad team, I think this would be an ideal team that even the people playing HC Nuzlockes would try to build if they didn't lose the party members. Your team you're talking about is great. I use them and they're efficient. But my strategy is different Since Swellow is my special pokemon to cleanup the rest of the opponent's pokemon. But i have a question (please notice this) My Sceptile doesn't have leaf blade and i dunno what level you can obtain. I Tried finding it using heart scale but was nothing there. So what level you can obtain Leaf blade on Sceptile? Also my whynaut doesn't evolve at Lv. 15 which is kinda new.

This is extremely misleading you wouldnt get get passed roxanne if you attempted to only use the pokemon from this team you would only have tailow and grovyle assuming you play by level cap but i guess im thinking nuzlocke rules. Either way this seems like a badly informed video considering right in the beginning “you get salemence late in the game” you literally get him right after flannery guaranteed in the mirage tower too floor. Not to mention this team would likely get desomated in the magma/aqua hideouts as the weather makes it really hard to handle the trainers plus maxie and archie

I used Pelipper, Chimcheo, Marowak, Salamence, Pinsir and HM slave Tropius, but for difficult battles I changed my HM slave to either Arcanine, Manectric or Kabutops. Did absolute not nuzlock it, but I did beat it. Pelipper worked amazing with Lightning Rod Marowak in double battles. Pinsir and Salamence was pure sweepers. Chimcheo was my support tank with status.

@@PlebAndo A week or so. In game playing time says 138h but that is because I play with fast speed on, have played on a while after I won the league and often left my game running without playing. I'm thinking 20-30h are the real time of playing. It's also worth noticing that most of those pokemon have received significant buffs in this mod. Marowak one-shotted everything that did not kill him first.

It could also be that the starter overshadowed them since offensive psychic types for example are special attackers and well that was what sceptile was so there might not of been room for them in emerald Kaizo’s strict nature
