Threads just doesn’t interest me in the slightest. Especially if you want to delete your account you also will have to delete your IG account too. So that’s my first “meh”. And it’s a big one, so not going down that path. You were losing me but then ironically you started talking about Vero. I’m so happy with the platform, so far. What more could we ask for. It gives me everything we’ve been asking for. It just needs some more users. So thanks for supporting it. Good on you for sticking with it and trying to make it work and explaining everything you have learned for everyone. Seriously though, I just don’t think we need another app to steal our valuable time away from the things we really should be doing. Keep up the great work.

Threads is not another account, it is your Instagram account, is just another functionality. You have the option to “deactivate” your profile, which does not affect your IG account. I hope that helps.

Hey Johny, thanks for the video! I've always appreciated your technical and informative point of view on everything, but why do you think that Instagram is about to die? I believe that Instagram - and Facebook - are just changing target audience and they would be useful for photographers or users interested in specific targets. I would enjoy a video where you explain your point of view on socials - and maybe explaining a bit deeper the reason why you believe that Vero is a nice opportunity for photographers, compared to the load of other social/platforms photo-focused.

Thanks for you comment. My comments on Facebook and IG are really in the context that they used to be absolute premiere social media platform that had huge impact. These days that's not the case and it's only moving in that direction. It doesn't mean they are really powerful tools though. I've done quite a few non sponsored videos on VERO for photographers in the past and if you go back far enough I share a pretty neutral opinion on it which just goes to show how far they've come.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the various social media platforms. I have tried a few and haven’t had any success with any. I was living in China when all of these took off and was late to the party. I’m creating some of my best work these days, but have gotten little traction. So frustrating… I recently began posting in a local group from the city I live in and got over 500 likes, over 70 comments and over 30 shares. I just gave up on Instragram last week and Twitter last year. Why should I even borher with Threads?

Twitter is great for photos, but 4 photos max with a forced landscape aspect ratio thumbnail can be annoying.
