The TMC Exam is known for its challenging nature, and it can be really tough to deal with failing after putting in so much effort into your studies. It’s completely normal to feel frustrated. But right now I don’t think I only feel frustrated I also feel like giving up which isn’t my thing. 😞😞

@@Billa-r1j Hey, Man remember, you’ve got this!!! Just keep your focus and keep pushing forward. Success will come when the time is right. I truly admire your determination to pursue a rewarding career-it's never too late to follow your passion.

Honestly, some people have a natural talent for test-taking, while others might struggle despite their hard work. I didn’t study extensively but managed to pass, while I know many who dedicated countless hours and didn’t achieve the same outcome. The key is to stay calm and confident during the exam. Creating personal mnemonics and phrases, just like Mr. Tony always advises, can really enhance retention. I developed unique sayings that clicked with me to help remember the material.

@@Billa-r1j It’s inspiring to see you taking charge of your future! I have a 42-year-old in my current study group with Mr. Tony, and it just proves that it’s never too late to chase your dreams.

Hello, I noticed this was published on 1/30/19 and on #1 you gave a range of VT 5-10 the NBRC only wants a range of 6-8VT for all etiologies so it's easy to calculate that range esp. during an exam :) (look on the site) Good luck
@TheEMC995 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I was thinking the exact same and reading the comments to see if that was addressed.
@Owlun4 жыл бұрын
@@TheEMC99 The CSE still occasionally uses 5-10 ml/kg. I was taught 6-8, but I have seen a few situations where 5-10 was used and was right, so be aware that it's still a possibility to base your answer on 5-10.
@amberthibodeaux83294 жыл бұрын
Im confused about the question involving DEACREASED lung compliance....I thought with stiffer, less compliant lungs, you would expect INCREASED peak pressures.....ur saying it would be decreased? Doesn't make sense to me (and a few others too that mentioned this one in the comments) Can you explain please???
@gloriaarevalo91633 жыл бұрын
I think you have it backwards. to me, Compliance = elasticity, so the less elasticity, (less compliance) the stiffer the lung is, so the air flow will have obstruction resulting in an increase pick pressure; like when you're bagging, if its hard for you to bag, is because lungs are stiff equaling decrease compliance (stiff lungs). When you bag, and is at ease, is because there's increased Cl, or more elasticity to expand, and no restriction for air flow. So, if we give a bronchodilator and BS improved, is because the lung walls are expanding, of Cl has increased, making the patient breathing better, cause Cl has improved.
