Leaving Sunday, 10/27, for a seven day camping trip to southern Big Sur. HWY 1 is closed. Like going back in time. No traffic, No people! Mainly to surf. The Los Padres forest down there is still closed to public access from 2021 storm damage.

Always enjoy your videos. My wife and I got into off-roading a couple of years ago. We’ve been hitting some of the trails you’ve done on your channel. Have you tried Freeway Ridge to Black Gulch to Davis Loop? This route will take you out to Rancheria Rd. It’s south of Lake Isabella off of Hwy 178. Fun intermediate trail.

Carrizo Plain is fun. East side, Elkhorn rd. and exploring all the little side roads going back up into the hills. Springtime. If it's open after winter. Off of Hwy 166. Hudson Ranch rd going south into Los Padres Ntl forest. It follows the ridge line. A ton of OHV trails off of that. Quatal canyon.

We used to explore down there for years riding ADV motorcycles. All through Pozo as well. 64, my long distance dirt bike days are over. Now in my truck.

101 north past Santa. Barbara until the 154 go up the mountain almost to the top and you’ll see a street sign for west Camino cello, turn left, follow that until you hit dirt… maybe 3 miles or so ..

Love the drone footage! Does that trail go all the way through to Solvang? Have you heard of Alamo Mountain? It's similar to this trail but it has designated campgrounds. It does close for the winter, though.

There’s not any real campsites it’s more like find an area and set up.

Pretty much just look for any spot pretty sure you can only use propane fire but ya ..
