I have fallen in love with Turkey because of you guys. Every week I make something from your channel. The lavash and hammered beef is a regular. I regularly make a big breakfast for myself. Never the same foods, it’s so versatile. I’ve recently started watching Turkish dramas and I’m so impressed with myself when I understood tesekkürler and afiyet olsun. I make my own tahini and hummus. I even made suduc. Soooo good. My son has put in an order for pide this week. I heard him refuse to share his potato gözleme with his friend recently. And So I can continue with stories of my Rafika /Turkish journey since the start of covid when I found your channel. Thank you so much for enriching my life. May God continue to bless you all. 🫶🏽

I’m finding myself blowing kisses and winking back to the people you filmed. You warm my heart, my Turkish brothers and sisters - I am Romanian, love in the USA because my dad escaped from communism - but we, people, have only one root, so we are family in my eyes. Thank you, again, Refika❤️. The owner obviously spent much time in the US - she has an American accent.

i came across your channel recently, now i spend my evenings watching a few videos. i never imagined how diverse and various turkish food was. up til now i only knew of the stereotypical portrayals of your food from what ive seen in media - so much more to discover and something to add to my bucket list. id love to know how cheeses are featured in the turkish diet, please keep the videos coming. i will say this, you are an extremely attractive woman in so many ways, and the way you carry yourself in the videos gives one such pleasure to watch. the man in your life is very lucky to experience the person you are. thank you so much.

I am cooking everyday for family of 7. During COVID lockdown it wasn't a problem because we were at home. I love this channel! Such an underappreciation of Turkish cuisine in the US, and I’m so glad you guys are rectifying that! Suggestion: as a historian, I think it would be fabulous if you guys did a few episode with historian and author Jason Goodwin. He wrote a five part historical fiction series that talks at length about Ottoman cuisine, and then even wrote a cookbook. It would be awesome to have him on, talk about Ottoman dishes and ingredients, go to some of the restaurants in Istanbul that replicate the older recipes, and/or prepare some of the recipes from his book.

Refika, Burak, Bahar etc. You guys are a breath of fresh air for me. You have a cost team that make us feel home💓 Having said that, I felt like Turkish grand breakfast(hope you do it only on Sundays) a mixture of our breakfast(sweet items) together with aperitivo(afternoon) with all those pickled vegetables, pies and cheese. I may not be able to eat most of the items in the morning for reasons such as; lack of time and habit. I'm not used to jave savour items in the mornings. It was a fine visual treat and the owner is a smart gorgeous lady. Thank you for sharing your culinary culture with us. Turkish breakfast is a must when you visit Turkey so as Kimchi if you visit S.
