This Turkish Cool Lemon is called Polo in Syria and I drank it all the time when I lived in Damascus. I watched your show when I lived in Ankara but didn’t realize there was Turkish Cool Lemon at Starbucks. Your recipes are amazing, especially the chicken kebap and the red pepper bulgar!

I deplore cumin 🤢. So I will make just as you instructed but without that spice. Thank you. Lovely recipe.

Wow! I use to make something similar with my homemade kefir. Now I will try with pickles and more salt. I also will try the juice from my white cheese. Sadly I just trew 2 cups of it, but next time I will try it.

You can cook in any oil , and all these nuts oils are not 100% original. I love falafel ,you did great 👍👍 cooling. Why to use baking powder, I can make without..🎉❤ Thank you..

I love that you included a non-fried version, thank you! I’m going to try it with kale and then layering the baked slices with yogurt as you did with the fritters. Much appreciation for your waste-less philosophy. I use squeezed vegetable water when I make stock. I pour it into a freezer container then pop it into the stock pot with my various leavings (which I also freeze until I have enough).

I made this last week and my family thought it was great. I had to make a gluten free crust so I used an almond flour crust from another recipe and decorated the top with slivered almonds. But I seemed to have too much fluffy stuff. I used a 24 cm pie plate and piled on as much as I could. What size pan did you use? I took the leftover fluff, made a little more fruit filling, combined them together and froze it to make a frozen yoghurt dessert. Delicious so no loss.
