Really useful, better than just good cpu and gpu combo’s, as ability to upgrade in a cost efficient way is so important. Easy to get yourself stuck having to upgrade motherboard and RAM. I have always stuck with intel, but will be going with AMD because of this.

The statement at 1:12 that an Intel mb should be upgraded every new cpu version is not true.I have an Asus Strix Z690E and I do have it from I9 12900K and then upgraded to I9 13900K and now to I9 14900k. So 3y.
@ShadowGamingPC19 ай бұрын
I never said it should be upgraded every new CPU version, but that is the end of the platform, if you get a CPU now it's a 13th gen or 14th, so next time you will have to upgrade the motherboard, for am5 is not the same

Really good vid, but I have to tell you all that even though with am5 you will have a path to upgrade in time, you don't see any am4 pcs now with a 1st gen motherboard from am4, so when u want to upgrade ur am5 cpu you will prob need to upgrade motherboard as well cause urs is so old and there probably be better ddr5 ram so you may upgrade it as well, I thought the same, am5 will be sk future proof but a technician told me that if you want to build a pc you should get the best y can with your budget, don't think much about upgradeability and just enjoy it, and when u need to upgrade ur pc, maybe 4-5 years later you will prob need to change almost everything so there is no future proof platform rn when every year there are new gpus,cpus,motherboards,ram...
@ShadowGamingPC19 ай бұрын
that is a solid point! that's why I mainly upload builds that are the best in terms of price to performance now, but many people request me for something that is more future proof therefore I make these builds sometimes that way everyone gets a system :)

Everything perfect AMD 7600X, RAM, SSD, Asrock MOBO, but GPU?? RTX 4060 TI 8gb for 1080p right now is for me by far the best option and you only recommended AMD, with almost the same fps (3% less) as RX 6800 and RX 7700 with 90w less power consumption and better ray tracing. Average price per frame in Europe: RTX 4060 TI 8gb 3,09€/frame, RX 7700 3,61€/frame + 28,90€/year in energy cost. There is literally no point in advantage. For 1440p RTX 4070 vanila is also better than RX 7800, both in fps (7% higher) and in ray tracing, with 60w less power consumption. About the same price at amazon.
