Excellent video! I like particularly your comments on the Rolex 1601, concise but very significant for someone considering adding one of these vintage pieces to his collection. I bought one recently and you are right on the money regarding the water resistance test and the disappointing bracelets. I would recommend to solve both problems at once and put the 1601 on a black croc or lizard leather strap and wear on dry land for formal occasions when black shoes are required. I believe that Rolex never planned for this but the delicate white gold fluted bezel looks even better without the metal bracelet.
