Love the addition of lemon with the dates. I find dates can be cloyingly sweet, but the lemon and salt must balance the sweetness. Yum!

Super easy and delicious! My 16 year old son is kinda picky but absolutely LOVED this with sliced apples. If I slice a couple of apples and set them on a plate with this caramel sauce, it's devoured in just a few minutes. I appreciate the recommendation to freeze it. I never would've tried that but it works perfectly. And, this way, we'll always have it on hand. Thanks so much!
