Today I show you how to make the best vegan Sweet Potato Hash Browns (aka fritters) ever! These don't use any oil and are baked in the oven. Such a simple set and forget recipe! I love these for breakfast, lunch and dinner... yum!

Vegan Sweet Potato Hash Browns Recipe
1 medium sweet potato (about 130g), grated
2 tablespoons flax meal
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons almond butter
Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F).
2. In a bowl, combine grated sweet potato, flax meal, garlic powder, turmeric powder, almond butter, and salt and pepper if desired.
3. Mix the ingredients well. For a firmer texture, refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes.
4. Shape the mixture into four fritters, resembling small burger patties.
5. Place the fritters on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
6. Flip the fritters and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Allow the fritters to cool slightly before serving.

Could I ask you please how you made the ginger water, ratios etc of what you put in it? My sister gets really bad migraines so I'd love to let her know what you did. Thanks 😊

@@alwayslearning9272 It's about a teaspoon of ground ginger to a small glass of water. If it's your first time trying it, start with a smaller amount, like half a teaspoon, then you could do another half teaspoon later on in the day. Edited to add: Anya now has two videos on this - the first from 2 years ago is called Get Rid of Migraine and Tension Headaches Fast - Simple Ingredient From Your Pantry! and the one from 3 weeks go is called the same, but it's just done in a different style.

Great tip about keeping flax seeds in the freezer. Also that fern looks healthy and give a lovely pop of green to the black and white set and your outfit. 🙂

Egg substitute hints are always good, seeing eggs are so expensive right now . I was using cornstarch, but, I like your alternative better.

If you cook them, they don’t shred. That’s why you heat them afterwards ❤

Thanks for this recipe. How much ground flaxseeds? Re the flaxseeds according to Dr. Greger ground flaxseeds are shelf stable for months. I've been using daily since 2016 and never had rancid ground flaxseeds. Hope that's helpful.
