that's also because A.I. is usually shown as being created (usually, by intention) to help manage our world; so, they're already tapped into our infrastructure, and that is the basis for how they learn, so quickly. if you were born, and raised, in war, you'd quickly learn survival tactics, and it would make a huge impression on the way you think about things

I just love how it had like everything. It had this like revenge story of this guy stealing their code/property, then had this sentient AI NPC plot in the game that then became the crux to help them in the real world with the lawsuit, then love story between Guy and Millie that spun into the actual real world love story between Millie and Keys. Would anyone else like to see them react to Tremors? For those who may not know about it. It's a cult classic from 1990, starring Kevin Bacon, not to mention Reba McEntire playing a supporting character. Despite its box office flop, it's considered one of the best movies ever, in terms of a tight storytelling. It's literally used as a reference, in film schools, as to what a movie should be.

Also, the memory kiss and the music where she finally realizes his feelings is the music from the Oscar-winning Disney short Paperman, which I highly recommend you watch, even if it's by yourselves, and not on the channel. At some point, especially around the holidays, you should find and watch the movie Spirited. A great take on Christmas Carol movies, stars Will Ferrel and Ryan Reynolds and this movie's making me think of it. Amazing plot and songs, it will become one of your new favorite Christmas movies.

I remember seeing this when it popped up on Disney+ and kinda shrugging it off. One day I found myself caught up on everything so sat down and watched it. It encompassed everything I loved about Ready Player One, but in a more relatable and comedic way. The easter eggs are non-stop! I looked back through your playlist and failed to find one of the greatest call-backs to my childhood, the Chip'N'Dale Rescue Rangers Movie. It has all the same flavor of nostalgia that Free Guy did, and may blow your mind. HIGHLY Recommend watching it with the gang.

If i recall correctly, this was originally a 20th century fox movie but as the movie neared completion the buyout from disney finished which opened up access to stuff disney owned or held some rights to. Thus star wars and marvel. During filming chris evans was nearby on a different shoot (i think) and chris agreed to cameo as himself.

Everybody points out that this movie is like "The Truman Show", but fewer people recognize its similarities to John Carpenter's "They Live". A guy with a blue shirt uses special sunglasses to see the world as it really is, his black buddy doesn't want to wear the sunglasses, he shoots up folks at a bank with a shotgun, even the "bubblegum" flavored ice cream is a callback to the famous "Kick ass and chew bubblegum" line.

I'm interested to see how you guys react to Ready Player One (2018). Additional Edit: For the Marvel and Star Wars references, they were actually in the middle of making the movie when Fox was purchased by Disney. So, Ryan Reynolds decided to get permission from Disney to use the Marvel and Star Wars props in the film for this scene (that shield is the actual Captain America shield used in the films, as was the light saber). For Chris Evan's cameo, he was actually filming another movie in the same city (Portland) and Ryan asked him to swing by for a short time to film the cameo. Evans had an hour of free time to film it, so he went in, got hair and makeup done and took about ten minutes to film his cameo.

We need a way to get a fully active virtual reality RPG. I mean, come on. Don't just imagine that you're slaying a dragon, or or create in your dream house, or or just simply talking with your peers socially or in a meeting. Experience it through virtual reality. We need a virtual world S.A.O (Minus the dying part) that we can become who we want to be to relieve stress, or at least just to have fun. I mean look at the move Ready Player One. Tbh as game designer most of the solutions of problems is kind of wacky, but I really like some of the gags, like the placeholder T-shirt as an image on DUDE, it's very true xD and Antwan... I had a boss little like that xD so I feel the pain a bit. The game engine is probably inspired by Unreal, but many things are exaggerated, and too, how to say it, "running too smoothly and pretty" In general. The scene with the car chase and approaching walls is impossible without restarting the servers xD so in these case it is a simplified picture of game development, but overall there are a lot of such accurate jokes. And from the IT point of view, you can't crash the server like that and the game would "lose data" in the meantime, and everything was working all the time, one server will be destroyed, everything probably turned off and the game is offline. But the movie is quite good, dramaturgically it's ok, factually it's wacky, comedy TOP . :) NPC AI is becoming more and more immersive, so who knows, maybe soon we will see games that have implemented a system, for example, a GPT chat that responds in real time and it will actually be like free gay, some game mods already do things like this or trial models.

for the record - it was made by 20th century fox, which was bought out by disney either during production or just before production, so they got to add all the disney stuff into the fight scenes basically last second after googling - disney bought fox march 20th 2019, and they did principal photography for the movie may 14th 2019, so basically disney bought it 2 months prior to filming

This movie was way better than it had any right to be 😂 That's the Ryan Reynolds effect, I guess. He can't make a bad movie. (Ignore the green, there was no green...) When we finally get a self-aware AI (which may be sooner than people think, depending on how you define "self-aware"), I'm not sure whether we should feel bad about killing NPCs. For one thing, they don't feel pain when they get killed, and they just return to life immediately after. But more importantly: will the self-aware AI consider itself the same as the older NPCs? Or will it view them as precursors, the way we view chimps, and feel bad for them but not consider it murder?
