Floyd doesn't look like his coming up to 40 years old, dude is quicker then the younger fighters, if you don't find this impressive you must be a hater.

Exactly! Haters only enjoy 1st Rd KO's. Don't even understand that boxing is about "skill" not who has the best KO percentage. Floyd is the best Boxer of this generation period. Haters are more loyal than fans.

I said this at least a year ago, the art of boxing is dying, Floyd is the only one who has kept it alive. Fans that believe getting hit is part of the job, doesn't understand the actual art of boxing.

Very discipline He’s able to slow it down for Us, and even tho his opponent is still growing he is still a student learning how to adjust and break him down. Always beautiful work and he doesn’t take the easy way out. Floyd knows how to beat you and he’s a student in all situations that’s why to me his so dangerous in my opinion.

cardiomanify watch the other guy's head and foot movement, the pattern never changes. Any time he moves his left foot, his head moves to the left, right foot, his head moved to the right. You can pick up on that to know where his head Is gonna be, and anticipate where to place your jab.

+Bryant Fluker My trainer never really took the trouble to explain such things to me. I always feel I am just throwing random punches... I know Floyd has the best ring IQ and everytime he fights, I am always wondering, "what is Floyd seeing right now that I am not? What openings and what traps is he trying to set? How does he spring those traps?" I don't believe Floyd throws random punches. He has a reason for everything he does. He's my boxing hero.

Floyd hits everybody with this counter punch at 17:12. What's amazing about it is that he's dodges the punch an inch away from his face and nothing more. By dodging within an inch he's already winding up for a counter while the opponents jab is still returning from the missed punch. Insane

I don't get why people say Floyd's boring. Even when he's sparring, I'm amazed...
@jpesmar
@jpesmar 5 жыл бұрын
Because most people haven't throw or taken a single punch in their life. Anyone who has stepped into the ring and competed, be that as a pro or even a "light sparring" between gyms, can appreciate what this dude can do. We all like those fights that are true wars, but there isn't a single boxer who wouldn't fight like Mayweather if they could pull it off. Retire undefeated, with their health intact, and richer than any other athlete on the world... what a fucking dream. Whatever kind of douche he is outside of the ring, he's a master at his craft, he has kept himself in shape during his whole career (even now, that he's retired, he doesn't get carried away and still trains and keeps his weight in check), and has known how to evolve according to his age and physical limitations. Those are things every person who has fought can learn from. Does that mean he should be people favorite fighter? fuck no, his fights are in fact sometimes boring, but it's not his fault no other boxer on the planet has cracked his code.

chris zarganis I agree, I think Floyd has some special kind of ability of breaking down everything his opponent does and has then use them to his advantage, from their stance, jabs, left&right hooks, movement, power, speed, reaction and breathing. At first I thought it was just great reflexes and reaction Floyd just possessed but now I just think its him anticipating his opponents moves lol I believe he's always thinking in the ring and I always noticed how Floyd puts himself in a type of position/stance to set up his opponents.

This guy floyd was something else in the ring. I’m talking only in the ring he was the best to elevate the game in a much fun way. Introducing defense, countering off the ropes, his footwork, head movement, and his reflexes you name it he had it all mastered. It was fun watching him break down his opponents and adjusting during the fight. This guy in my opinion was the best to ever do it, no disrespect to all the other legends.
