Love your appreciation of 60's music...Blonde on Blonde (Dylan) is my lifetime favorite album and artist. Dylan still travels the world with his Neverending Tour and performs to soldout audiences...amazing concerts. I hope there is a part 3 video...thanks

Pink Floyd, Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Incredible start to the best band ever. Astronomy Domine would be my favourite track from the album. Love Arnold Lane, See Emily Play, and Interstellar Overdrive as well. Bike is great as well :D

You barely scratched the surface in terms of 1960's record. I love to see a part three aswell some 70's and 80's included. Heck even the 90's would be awesome. But I dig you that you included zombies, bob dylan, rolling stones, and pink floyd. All awesome artist who helped shaped the 60's.

Vanilla Fudge was kind of an obscure band from the late 1960s whom I heard when I was a child in the 1960s from my stepsister’s record collection. I later purchased the reissue of one of their albums (several years ago). I didn’t have many albums of my own in the 1960s.(I was a child), but I loved hearing it on the radio and others’ vinyl records. Most of my records were from the mid-1970s through the 1990s. However, I love 1960s music (nostalgia) and I have some 1960s vinyl that I purchased later, and I have lots of it on Amazon Music and iTunes (including all the Beatles’ albums). I have Zombies, Hollies, Stones, Doors, Zeppelin, Vanilla Fudge, too, and many. many others.

3 songs were taken off Revolver to be put on Yesterday and Today. This happened with all Beatles albums pre-Sgt. Pepper, but was fixed in the 1980's, when the U.K. albums became world standards except they added Magical Mystery Tour as an LP.

As you mention, many LPs have strong song at the end of side A to make sure you flip the record over. There's an ordering strategy that is commonly used for any kind of compilation - songs on an album, short stories in a book, short films in a collection, whatever. The exception would be something like a concept album where the overall structure requires songs to be in a particular order. You start an album with the second-best song, to get the listener hooked. You follow that with maybe the third or so best song, to keep their attention. Through the middle part of the album you always immediately follow a weaker song with a stronger one, so if the listener feels a little bit let down at any point, they'll get something better next. For the end of the album, you use the very strongest song. The best for last! This way, the listener finishes with a good feeling about the album and about the band. Think about it: if you started strong and then the quality steadily went downhill until it ended on something mediocre, you'll remember the declining quality and tend to forget the good stuff from early on. You won't feel that good about the album. You might even get bored and stop listening partway through. If it ends really strongly, though, you'll be tapping you foot and wanting more. You'll have good memories of the whole thing. You'll listen to it again, share it, recommend it, buy the band's other records. There are exceptions, but notice how frequently a big hit was either the first or last song on its original album; often both first and last were hits. If the formula above is true, those songs were the two the creators felt were the best.

Actually it was 3 songs that were omitted from the U.S. Revolver, but that's enough. Sitar was heard on Norwegian Wood from Rubber Soul which preceded Revolver. It can also be heard on the soundtrack to HELP! but it's doubtful that Harrison is playing.

3 Songs not on the US Revolver: And Your Bird Can Sing, Doctor Robert, I'm Only Sleeping. They appeared on the US Yesterday + Today LP, before being issued on the UK Revolver. Most Stereo Yesterday + Today pressings up through the 80's had those three songs in fake Stereo. The first few thousand Mono UK copies of Revolver accidentally contained an incorrect Mono mix of Tomorrow Never Knows, which has NEVER been officially released. Again, Dr. Ebbett's has a 1st UK Mono pressing transferred to CD, Again, go to jagamart.com and click on their Ebbett's Beatles Import link. Look for identifying feature Matrix XEX-606-1.

His wife my aunt has all beatles albums. they probably have pet sounds. so who did I leave off this list?

The original Beggars Banquet US cover that you have was different than the UK cover. At the time the US company thought that the dirty graffiti public toilet cover was not acceptable, but when their CDs came out in the late 80s, they then used the UK cover.

It's impossible to pick a few records from the 60s. Every category, from Rock to Pop to Country to Jazz went CRAZY! Must have been the drugs. You can take some of the bubblegum songs from the 60s & put them up against modern day Rock & the 60s song sounds like total progressive rock compared to today. Joe Walsh was in the original Ohio Express. Ozzy Osbourne (pre Sabbath) was in the Magic Lanterns (as popish as it sounds) Rick Derringer was lead guitar in The Mccoys. The list is endless.
