Hi thank you for your answer on my question. Yes I tried Google streetview app several times, but like you said it's unhandy and timeconsuming. Besides I can just upload lose photos, don't see any tour making options

Hi Ralph. The tourmaking option is called connecting photos. See step 2 here: support.google.com/maps/answer/7011737?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en For 2 or 3 photos it is easy. More than that, and it takes a lot more time.

Hi Lowly TV. You can get the first Insta360 One for under EUR200. Or if you only want photo, you can get a Ricoh Theta SC. It will be able to stitch HDR photos in-camera.

Hi Michael! Great question! You need to decide how you want to balance quality and speed. Some options have high quality but low speed. Others are the reverse. Here are some options: 360rumors.com/2017/10/360-cameras-real-estate-photography-virtual-tours-10-cameras-compared-plus-avoid-seen-360-photo.html

@360vroomers
@360vroomers 6 жыл бұрын
Michael Carvalho hey there Michael! By speed i mean how quickly you can shoot and stitch. Theta can shoot and stitch HDR in-camera. That's as fast as it gets. But the detail is not high. On the other end is a dslr panorama which takes a minute to shoot but is very high quality. For cupix i would suggest speed is more important bec you need a lot of shots. Theta SC can work! 360rumors.com/2016/06/ricoh-theta-s-long-term-review-plus-10.html

Hi, I've been following your videos. Really great info. I'm pretty new with 360 photography, I'm now in the process in uploading 50 Photospheres to google to become aTrusted shooter, a new direction I would love to go in my work. I'm now working with Kuula, which I really like, succeeded in making a nice tour in Kuula, but....how do I bring this tour to Google Maps? Or should I do this process of making the tour in Google Map maker itself to get Google to qualitfy my 360 uploaded pics?

@360vroomers

@@Musiquedecor The advantage of Cupix is that it can do a matterport-like effect. But Cupix is more expensive and it takes much more time to capture. For example, in a single room, you can do it with one photo on cloudpano but on Cupix, you have to take a photo every 5 feet. And as I mentioned, Cloudpano has many more business-oriented features. I will talk about it next time. But you can check them out.

Hi Jeff. Cupix recommends taking a photo roughly around every 5 feet. You don't need to spin the camera. just take a photo every 5 feet and upload the photos to cupix servers. Their cloud software will automatically assemble the virtual tour for you. I know it sounds confusing because it's quite different from other virtual tour software which is why I recommend actually trying it out (even in a small room) just to see how easy it is to do :D best regards, Mic

I'd like to try 360 video and pictures for real estate without spending more than $400 for the camera. I also plan to use cupix and adobe lightroom for editing. At that price point it seems there is seems to be a toss up between the insta 360 one or the Ricoh Theta V which would you recommend?

Hi Michael! For one-shot 360 cameras, the highest resolution is Panono. I've been using iStaging.com for virtual tours. Have you investigated that and if so, how does it compare to Cupix?
@360vroomers
@360vroomers 7 жыл бұрын
Hi Karin. Sorry for the delayed reply. The comment was marked as spam because of the link to iStaging. Briefly, Cupix and iStaging are distinct. iStaging's LiveTour is essentially a traditional virtual tour. You have thumbnails of rooms and you jump to those rooms by clicking on the thumbnail. While you can also do that with Cupix, you can also "move around" in a Cupix space, such as moving forward, backward, left, right, diagonal, etc. This gives the client a better sense of the actual space. Cupix case studies claim to have 20% faster closing. See here www.cupix.com/case-study/ iStaging does plan to have 3D floor plans in the future (floorplan AR), and that may end up similar to Cupix in end result. The question will be how well does it work in practice in terms of time required for scanning, and accuracy of result. Finally, iStaging has Scankit to scan 3d models of actual objects. Cupix doesn't have an equivalent, but they said that in the future, you will be able to bring in 3D models into their spaces, so in that sense Scankit could complement Cupix as well. I hope this helps! Best regards, Mic

Did some research...Matterport and Cupix seem to have similar price points outside the camera, Matterport running $2200 right now. The question I have that NOBODY is answering is...can Cupix tours be hosted on any other server and do u own the tour after u'v made it. i.e. nursing home sales reps could put a facility tour on their tablet or laptop to present from. It would run much smoother and faster. Otherwise it seems like a whole lot of work clicking thru a large number of spots. I always hated Matterport for that reason. Video is much easier to watch.

360Rumors.com I did straight away just after watching your vid, log in was pretty difficult only LinkedIn or FB option, would have preferred create a/c option but no choice, did eventually get there, gave it 20 pics ( deep end first ) it’s still thinking & saying in progress, 🤞🏼it works

Hi Won. I'll ask them about login. It takes a while to process. Could be a few hours. (Matterport takes 24 hours) Just wait for the email notification.

360Rumors.com Thanks Mic, it loaded the 20 pics but put them into 4 sections even though it’s 1 floor of 1 building, all looks great but for the life of me I can’t get it to join sections up, at it @ the moment for a couple of hours, if it works out wow this will be brilliant to have, 🤞🏼

Yeah and the free version image quality is terrible on cupix, 250mb for images. I took small tour with Fusion on our cabin it was 590mb in size so for the free i needed to cut the quality on half.
