Hi thank you for your answer on my question. Yes I tried Google streetview app several times, but like you said it's unhandy and timeconsuming. Besides I can just upload lose photos, don't see any tour making options

Hi Ralph. The tourmaking option is called connecting photos. See step 2 here: support.google.com/maps/answer/7011737?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en For 2 or 3 photos it is easy. More than that, and it takes a lot more time.

Hi Michael! Great question! You need to decide how you want to balance quality and speed. Some options have high quality but low speed. Others are the reverse. Here are some options: 360rumors.com/2017/10/360-cameras-real-estate-photography-virtual-tours-10-cameras-compared-plus-avoid-seen-360-photo.html

Hi Mic.360Rumors.com when you say speed as in ? Pls let me know.
@360vroomers6 жыл бұрын
Michael Carvalho hey there Michael! By speed i mean how quickly you can shoot and stitch. Theta can shoot and stitch HDR in-camera. That's as fast as it gets. But the detail is not high. On the other end is a dslr panorama which takes a minute to shoot but is very high quality. For cupix i would suggest speed is more important bec you need a lot of shots. Theta SC can work! 360rumors.com/2016/06/ricoh-theta-s-long-term-review-plus-10.html

@@Musiquedecor The advantage of Cupix is that it can do a matterport-like effect. But Cupix is more expensive and it takes much more time to capture. I will talk about it next time. But you can check them out.

Thank you very much Gigi for watching my videos! I appreciate you asking me! Sorry it took me a while to research it. My first question is whether you plan to use Cupix. Theta V has better shadow detail (and much better video) but will cost more. If you plan to use traditional virtual software, then speed is less paramount, so I would recommend these: 1. I've been using iStaging.com for virtual tours. Have you investigated that and if so, how does it compare to Cupix?
@360vroomers7 жыл бұрын
Hi Karin. Sorry for the delayed reply. The comment was marked as spam because of the link to iStaging. Briefly, Cupix and iStaging are distinct. iStaging's LiveTour is essentially a traditional virtual tour. You have thumbnails of rooms and you jump to those rooms by clicking on the thumbnail. While you can also do that with Cupix, you can also "move around" in a Cupix space, such as moving forward, backward, left, right, diagonal, etc. This gives the client a better sense of the actual space. Cupix case studies claim to have 20% faster closing. See here www.cupix.com/case-study/ iStaging does plan to have 3D floor plans in the future (floorplan AR), and that may end up similar to Cupix in end result. The question will be how well does it work in practice in terms of time required for scanning, and accuracy of result. Finally, iStaging has Scankit to scan 3d models of actual objects. Cupix doesn't have an equivalent, but they said that in the future, you will be able to bring in 3D models into their spaces, so in that sense Scankit could complement Cupix as well. I hope this helps! Best regards, Mic

The question I have that NOBODY is answering is...can Cupix tours be hosted on any other server and do u own the tour after u'v made it. i.e. nursing home sales reps could put a facility tour on their tablet or laptop to present from. It would run much smoother and faster. Otherwise it seems like a whole lot of work clicking thru a large number of spots. I always hated Matterport for that reason. Video is much easier to watch.
