Hey there :) Do you happen to know a quick mount for the Qoocam 3 Ultra? I had one for the Insta360 X4, but the camera wobbles a bit. With all the other quick mounts I've tried, you can see it because it's outside the stitch line due to its size. :/

@360vroomers Hm not even a bit? Since even slight clatter would also destroy the audio :/. I already ordered one some time ago. Furthermore I am not sure if it can hold so much more weight over its spec...

@ I’ll look for mine but I don’t recall it jiggling. Did you tighten the screw with a coin or something? If you buy from Amazon you can return it.

Can anyone please explain why AVP can not display 3d video from any source but the Meta Quest 3 can? The AVP 3d content has to come from the Apple APP store, whereas MQ3 can use content directly from other sources like KZbin and Netflix.

2:00 you say AVP is just showing 3d video , but a few seconds earlier you said AVP has zero parallax , but doesn't 3d video have parallax? So which is it?

Not all 3D has parallax. A real parallax effect is when for example farther objects can appear to shift from the left side to right side of a near object. Spatial video is 3D but has no parallax effect.

4:57 I think I saw a spatial video shot with the AVP , and the video boundaries don't go as wide as a true 3d video. Imagine a 3d video but with shaded areas around the outside.

@ no I think dji knows that 360 is used more often for reframed 3rd person view video. It didn’t make a 360 camera for Vision Pro.

do you have a download link where we can download two 8k test stitched video you shot in real world conditions, one from qoocam3 ultra and the second from insta360 x4 so we can put them in a quest 2 to check image quality ? do you have a free video playback app for quest 2 to recommend that can replay in 8K vr 360 ( the youtube app is limited to 4k playback on quest2) ?

Dude is just wrong. I can confirm that parallax view is a relevant concept in spatial video. In spatial video, viewers can experience depth and perspective changes as they move their viewpoint, which creates a parallax effect. This effect is achieved through the use of multiple camera angles or 360-degree recording, allowing for a more immersive experience where the position of objects relative to each other shifts as the viewer changes their perspective.

It will make more sense for them to add a 4k video camera to this camera so it's part of the process, that takes the 360 video and lidar scan so it makes the video matching easy, are they planning to release a camera with that feature built in?

Hi Ignacio. You can use a 360 camera on a chest mount and it will be much more stable than an action cam like a GoPro but you have to be very careful because it can get scratched. If you still want to do it then i suggest mounting it like a regular action cam with one lens facing outward and the other side touching your chest (make sure it is not hitting a hard surface like the chest mount plastic parts.

Thank you for this video. Direction Lock is what I needed. It appears the Insta360 records everything and the direction lock leaves it in a position (facing forward) I will be back to watch this video many times. Be carefull on your uni-wheel thing, I perfer my pickup truck and tractors. Thanks again!

Sorry no, project is only for non-360 reframed video. If you want 360 video you can export one video at a time and edit in Davinci resolve or premiere or other video editors.

Thanks for the great tutorial! Somehow the project mode doesn't work well for me on an M2 Macbook Air. It slows to a crawl most of the time, and I usually get a beachball. For now, I'll just continue what I've been doing in the past, exporting individual videos through the Insta Studio app, and then doing the actual editing on Lumafusion.
