Great review, thank you, I have an iPhone 8 with a little Rode lightning microphone, do you think this gimbal could cope with the extra weight of the microphone and are the motors noisey

Thank you! I haven’t heard any noise from the motor. You can watch my other video of me vlogging with this gimbal on the P30 to double check on motor noise. I haven’t tried using it with a mic so I’m not sure if it can 100% support it

Yeah I heard about that issue before. I don’t have experience with gopros + gimbals but from vlogging with phones sounds fine to me

As far as I know you can’t turn off the image stabilization in the stock camera app

Nope, the best tip for not overhearing is keep it properly balanced. Or the phone might be too heavy on one of its axis.

I just bought this gimbal, can't seem to figure out how you can have it tripoded on a table say, and slowly video pan the room 180 or 360 degrees. Nothing too complicated, just slowly spin like your microwave tray. Is this possible ?

Does anyone know how the GESTURES work in Feiyutech Vlog Pocket? I know that the Peace Sign takes a photo and Open Palm starts the video but the tracking doesn't seam to work for me. I would expect the gimbal to start tracking whoever used the gesture like in DJI Osmo but my gimbal just stands still.

Usually I would pinch the screen or use the whatever that's easiest on the phone to zoom since every phone has different ways to do it.

Vlog Pocket is awful, it sucks in every aspect. I had two, both were unusable. Stabilization is insufficient even in static shots, movements in pan and roll axis are too rapid and not fluent, but, first of all both my gimbals suffered from exactly the same problems with stabilization in pan and roll. Particularly, pressing the trigger button caused a random rotation in the pan axis of, say, 10-15 degrees, crossing the +45 degrees elevation also caused a similar rotation in the pan axis. The phone tended to bank to the left in the roll axis (what could not be corrected with initialization), then during panning it banked in the direction of the panning. Feiyu ON app was unusable on my phone with Android, it produced unacceptable poor quality, jaggy films and half of the functions was not working at all.
