The stabilization on the ZVE10 doesn't seem so great. Is it automatic? Or should it have been turned on when you started recording in the demo?

Yeah ZV E10 stabilization is garbage plus the rolling shutter. I have one but the only way you can have smooth footage is moving slow and steady. Or of course a good gimbal

Bought one Used on Ebay for about $500 and since I have APS-C Lens that I had from my a6400 I like using the 11mm f1.8 as I find the zv-e10 + 11mm is a real good setup as I have the 16mm also but I use it on my FX30 also, but it's a Nice camera but it is a bit heavy on the Camera but if ya use a handheld tripod or the Sony Bluetooth Grip then this would be fine
