Not a grind vehicle, but the obj 120 is a very fun vehicle to use. Very good mobility + reverse speed + 10s auto loader + fast turret traverse + ha ha funni 152mm apfsds at 8.0 goes brrr. Also note that, while not having a stab, the gun handling is excellent and there’s next to no bouncing.

Sad the OF40 MTCA wasn't mentioned, its basically an upgrade from the Tam2IP with the same br, same DM33, same reload rate, double the armor thickness (but still bad), much better acceleration and terrain mobility (but lower top speed), better optics, only disadvantage is no scouting. Also Italy's 9.3 lineup is pretty cracked too

I need to do this comparison myself, how does it hold up va the AMX-30 Super? The latter doesn’t have as good a round, but it has thermals and also is fast AF, maybe similar mobility wise???

@@PraetorianMan They're very similar. Like you said, the MTCA's round is better. For mobility they both have the exact same power to weight ratio, but AMX has slightly higher top speed and better reverse speed. For optics, the MTCA doesn't have thermal but has better zoom (7-14 vs 4-12). Other than that the only differences are armor, which the MTCA has more on the turret and the AMX has more on the hull, but it's not really enough to survive in either. The choice probably just depends on what country you prefer to research.

@ I mean fun is subjective. I enjoy it personally. Has a good dart, is one of the fastest MBT’s at the BR and 9.3 in general is one that you don’t really have to worry about being full of noob premium players because there’s not much at 9.3 to buy outside of the super.

The T-34-100 is a decent pick for the higher mid-tiers. Pretty good mobility, good gun, and unlike most Soviet vehicles actually teaches you to be careful because at its BR the T-34 hull is paper. If you want a more "OP" premium, though, get the T-34-57 (1943). Trollish turret, the T-34 hull is still relevant at its BR, and the gun is very beginner friendly, yet also exceptionally deadly in the hands of a skilled player (who knows where to shoot for ammo-racks, for example).

depends on your level of skill tbh... 2s38 doesnt require much skill but its also an easy target and everyone murders you if you get focused sooo if you want to have that safety net of armour then its an obvious choice and since youve the bmp2m thats a good enough light tank minus the vt shells. with the great t80ud reload its a much better all rounded obj 292 in terms of your avg engagement anyways

Its the massive autoloader. If you go hull down and face forward its tough. Otherwise every dart that gets through the hull likely gets your ammo in the autoloader

@ tbh it just seems like a skill issue. At that BR most things aren’t tanking multiple shots regardless but you have great armor. Darts are still gonna pen though. And hull down means you can duck back down and repair. A shot in the autoloader just means death
