@ yeah no, I use to Pop Barriers in the few seconds there shield wasn’t up. Freeze definitely helps. The thing is, as it stands. unstopps have the easyiest stun options (outside of Slow on Overloads) so their difficulty has been nuked, where as Barrier has arguably the hardest stun options, partially because you can nuke them in between Shield casts. It doesn’t make them any less annoying.

Honestly, I want to see Cross use genuinely interesting builds. The Choir of One Build was kinda boring too because it was a very generalist build. It pairs a ton of good things together to make a good build, as opposed to pairing a bunch of parts that would otherwise be pretty weak but together, make a perfect concoction. Personally, I’ve been using a DOT build making use of Anarchy, Necrotics, and the new Area Denial GLs. While none of them directly synergize, they all share one common theme, being Damage over Time. Stacking these effects shred through Champions and Mini Bosses, and ensure that you have a consistent stream of Damage on the boss while completing an encounter. It’s also a high Ability and Ammo efficient build. (Outside of the Special GL, all of these parts alone are kinda mid. Anarchy might have great total Damage, but it’s not a weapon people would usually use for Champions and whatnot. Same for Necrotics, whose primary purpose is Add Clear)

Shhhhhhhhhh do not tell anyone how god tier that weapon is. Been using it with a gyrfalcon/inmost light prismatic hunter build and it NUKES. Honestly helps me feel like a warlock using void to get devour with the season mods with the volatile rounds with gyrfalcon that helps free up a fragment and be really flexible.

I used nova sanguine with wish ender, velocity baton, and edge transit. The velocity baton can fill up that hunger bar with 1 shot if it hits every tic. Vortex nade, needle and hellion FTV, heavy finder, utility kickstart and special finisher since you dont need surges. Sanguine rocks these days you can switch it up depending on the content and it has STYLE!

I made that same hunter build and its biggest weakness is the lack of DR/Healing. I remedied the issue by using Relativism with Galanor/Cyrtarachne to gain Woven Mail while using the aspect Facet of Bravery to get Volatile Rounds that way.

I have a Sanguine Alchemy build with Liturgy with rimestealer/chill clip and Fighting lion on prismatic. Stasis turret freezes, devour restores grenade giving multiple turrets at a time, freezing enemies reloads weapons, FL spreads volatile and weaken, Liturgy shatters. Use seasonal artifact stasis and void buffs, stacking frost armor, void breeches restore melee and stasis shards restore class ability. Its cracked out.

Gyrfalcon (any iteration) continues to be one of my top picks for GM builds, regardless of the strike, regardless of the artifact.. Sanguine? Not so much. Ever. But I’ll try it. You convinced me. I am pretty sure the reason you could not proc the radiant anti-barrier rounds was because of the Artifact mod for pulse rifles since there is a priority for them. Intrinsic trump and cancel out artifact modes, artifact modes trump and cancel out ability effe4cts like radiant.

lets be honest gyrfalcons with choir is just graviton lance but special and more fun, also dont sleep on the actual gyrfalcons haulberk exotic even on prismatic, the invis finisher damage buff is no joke, sure wont be useful in a damage phase but its a massive damage buff on its own and combined with the artifact this season having finisher mods its pretty nice plus yknow reserve overshields regardless i prefer this build on regular void vanishing step is so nice and devour being up all the time, and most importantly on demand antibarrier without relying on a stylish exec kill thanks to vanishing step

It may not even be something you wanna do, but do you think its in your interest to get all of the destiny streamers (or as many as you can) from both sides (pve and pvp) and do like a state of the game from a players perspective? im running ursa furiosa build now because of a friend and that does tank everything and drops a lot of orbs as well as draws aggro, i also used my hung jury with rewind rounds and explosive payload. My warlock is running contraverse hold i have not found a good build for my hunter yet still.

I LOVE graviton Lance and have for YEARS before it was even buffed bit is STRUGGLEs with Orange Bars and does ALMOST NOTHING to Champions, Mini Bosses or Bosses, even back when we had Elemental armaments and Battle Harmony Stacking Void Damage and my Legendary bow was doing 28-35k per shot the Graviton Lance STILL struggled with Higher level enemies and you ALWAYS need an Alpha Strike weapon with LOW Ammo Punishment to cover for weakness even though it is the KING of Void Crowd control

BUT there a good deal of Primary Exotic that can do some work against Champs and even SOME legendary weapons as well as well, just to Name a Few Sweet Business, Le Monarque, Hierarchy of Needs, OutBreak Perfected, Revision Zero, Vex Mythoclast and the list goes on and with any of these weapons you can get buy with a weapon SPECIFICALLY to DPS Champs because they can do Double Duty, But Like I said LOVE the Graviton Lance but seeing this kind struggle means the Build is VERY Flawed cause they didn't account for the Graviton being a Red Bar Specialist weapon with no REAL answer for the Stronger Enemy types whenever I use Graviton I usually have a few options for Heavy or Kinetic usually ones benefitting from the seasonal artifact or ones that are just BONKER mental when it coms to DPS or Alpha Strike Damage or ones receiving VERY little Ammo Punishment , and this build had VERY little of any of the above.

Only reason the hunter build lost is because cross didn't have the right class item combo. The actual GG roll for gyrfalcon is spirit of the assassin in which you can drop stylish executioner entirely.

To be fair, I don’t think a gyrfalcon build is even good for high end content. Drop winters shroud for gpg or threaded specter. Fix the fragments, why use bravery when you are using gyrfalcon, ruin is only giving 10 mobility as the shatter and ignite isn't doing much, blessing isn't doing much either. So there are 3 fragments basically wasted. Would rather use threaded spike over smoke for the sever. Alot going wrong with this hunter build.

Gyrfalcon/ Foetracer is 100% the better roll, especially if you roll Choir with Destab to self-proc Stylish, which means constant invis, volatile, and GPG. Throw is void siphon, Firepower, and Reaper with double absolution and a healing orb mod and you're also getting smokes and regular grenades back to reproc Foetracer for free damage.

Unrelated but imagine if Bungie made all snipers intrinsically anti-barrier without needing an artifact. The lack of reserves makes it hard to justify using em outside of a dps rotation. They lack an identity in the current sandbox. Sucks cuz they're fun

Dude Cross could barely make it through the second encounter with the first build and overall just had to work much more to make the first build work I was expecting an 80/20 split for gyrfalcons. He eased through the entire nightfall using the hunter build Im so shocked rn

We got throught the 2nd encounter fairly easy. Just because it was slower doesn't mean we barely got through it.

@KingOfKingsXIV dude anyone not at that level of skill would have probably wiped there. Slow is bad when it comes to a nightfall, just creates more opportunities for the mobs to overtake you.

Sit in a puddle and dump mag after mag with the most basic ass primary weapon in existence vs hunter trying their best to be creative and use something off meta. Wonder who wins this one 🤔
