the worse thing about fluid flux is the tutorials, decent documentation but no decent tuts! Thank you for the share.

Thanks for your feedback on that ! 🙌

Thanks for the video. Yes, an indepth tutorial for the water plugin would be great. Beyond that it would be great to have a smalle series to create elements like water, fire, wind, etc to make a scene believable and have more life. it doesn't take huge skills, but just to have some small options to breathe life into a scene. Thank you! Looking forward to ALL your control rig videos!

Thanks for your feedback ! 🙌 Noted, Water Plugin will be a tutorial then 😊 And thanks for your suggestions, this is a really good idea ! I'll try to work on that to create something for you guys. I'll let you know for all the new Control Rig videos ! 🙌

Seconded, would love a water plugin tutorial. I would also love a tutorial on wind specifically, and different ways to achieve a wind-like effect that focuses on optimization. I can't imagine the processing cost of actually using physics objects and chaos cloth simulation on thousands of leaves on a small grove of trees, but I'm 100% certain that there's much better way to do it, and have all items in the relevant area react the same way to the 'wind', like blowing in the same direction and strength of effect.

What about oceanology and fluid ninja?
@ProjProdАй бұрын
These are great solutions as well! Thank you for sharing! 🙌

What water would you use if you were making a smooth/realistic Minecraft-like? Voxel worlds with terraforming can be difficult to find good water for.
@ProjProdАй бұрын
That's a great question! I haven't explored that type of project yet, but I'll look into solutions related to Materials rather than simulations-it should be easier to manage, in my opinion.
@GES1985Ай бұрын
@ProjProd I appreciate the response! I 100% would *love* to see what you can come up with for a solution. I've wondered if you can script the behavior of the regular planar/collision box water, to cull when it collides with terrain, and/or process some Niagara effects to smooth the transition / trick the eye? I have no idea, lol. I'm just a noob trying to learn game design, and a voxel world is my magnum opus. But.. water... lol. Smh

You know, i wish there was a plug in or free asset pack of a niiiceee waterfall, I do see the niagara fluids being quite bombastic in its way but ahh.....if only liquigen could be integrated here >( Great video though!

LiquidGen is impressive, I agree! Niagara can feel a bit overwhelming at first glance-I’m with you on that. Let’s hope to see further developments in this area. 🤞

Where is Oceanology? or Fluid Ninja?

Fluid Flux is amazing. I own it. But the lack of character interaction doesn't cut it in 2024-25. Hopefully it is added soon. For the price it should be.

Thank you for mentioning the lack of character interaction. I needed to know that for evaluating options.

1. How to buy 2. What is the difference between this buoyancy module and the buoyancy module in the water system that comes with the system?

Fluid flux is a pain in the ass to use and customize. They should make it more user friendly. I was hoping for other good realtime alternatives, but some of these look sorta bad..

Pour toi c est quoi le mieux ?
@ProjProd2 ай бұрын
L'alternative avec les matériaux reste la plus simple et efficace à mon avis ! Les simulations pures sont encore à développer un peu, en tout cas pour faciliter leur utilisation dans l'éditeur.
