Best way to clean Car Headliner

Cleaning Interior Headliner in Extremely dirty condition fast and easy.

I just used this method along with the chemical guys lightning fast stain extractor and was able to get all the stains out. Detail shop was going to charge me $150 to remove the stains. Thanks!!!

Remember to not scrub too hard or you could cause areas of the headliner to sag

i had a gallon of Orange Juice from wholeFoods explode in my car from the heat....the headliner brings me stress just to look up..... I am going out after a Nap to GET HER CLEAN! thx

Would this be okay for a fabric headliner? This sounded like vinyl when you were scrubbing. I had a bottle of Coke explode in my car years ago and I've been putting off cleaning it because I'm afraid of destroying the 14 year old headliner lol

Yes that's a regular headliner and I think it was coke as well you have to be gentle and make sure you dont soak cleaner that's why I use microfiber so its gentle try a small spot. Crack windows let dry on hot day. Good luck

I like to use an orbit polished for headliners it save me tons of time

One edge from your DA, and it will tear your headliner be careful. I learned this technique from a 35 year experienced technician in the industry.

That's a tricky one I would use a tap roller to start or a rubber brush you don't want to use anything that is harsh or abrasive the headliner is very fragile good luck..

With a brush and microfiber towel as long as your not saturating the headliner you can try a all purpose cleaner like simple green or even laundry soap would be a good alternative. Good luck

@@tolamyb35d My first impulse would say no if that's the only options available to you I would say use a very small amount and try in a small inconspicuous area so if it did stain you wouldn't see it.

I used interior DG from superior Image it's my favorite you can also use citrus base cleaner or any fabric cleaner I would recommend trying a test spot in back to sure you don't get any discoloration.
