My eyes are hella dark and deep set AND I've got TONS of wrinkly crinkly skin in the corners of my under eye and lines under the rest. Everything goes fine until I set everything with powder. I've used correctors and different concealers and everything goes well until I set the under eye area. It either looks ashy or just makes all those wrinkles jump out. The struggle is real, ya'll. I've had some luck with BareMinerals loose powder concealers over my corrector/liquid concealer to set it all, but I still have darkness coming through. But banana powder is too drying and Mac translucent setting powder looks ashy. Experiment experiment. Thanks for the vid!

I could give you a whole list of setting powders i have used but the list is too long but i'll name a few, mac prep and prime, mac minerlizer, ben nye powder, laura mercier translucent powder and the other laura mercier one the list goes on...! But the one powder i always go to is the Nars light reflecting loose powder. It doesn't help with the under eye shadow but it really makes my under eye look crease free and that is the only reason i go back to it. I'm only 25 and my under eyes but concealer and most setting powders make me look a 100 years old. :/

Me too! My eyes aren't deep set much, but the rest....oh gawd yeah! ME I've yet to find anything to fully cover my black eyes without looking caky. The best I've come up with happens to be Bare Minerals. I use the Stroke of Light and the standard concealer with the origional foundation powder. Depending on what time of year and how tan I am 😎

hey! I struggle with creams too, ideally what I would do is pat the concealer on top gently , if you use your finger or a beauty sponge then it should be okay, but if you're using brushes it can make it move and look patchy. How have you been applying it??

Hey Raji, I recently tried to find a double wear tone to match my skin tone but nothing looked right (too grey, yellow, or peach) The estee lauder makeup artist took me to her friend at Bobbi Brown and she set me up with a correcter (peach bisque) and concealer (warm natural) with a finishing powder (pale yellow). It looks better than it ever has but I still have creases, is it because I use my fingers instead of the brush you use? It also doesn't blend as perfectly with my skintone as yours does. I believe if I use something to brighten after the concealer it might solve the problem. What do you recommend? Thanks

hey! so the reason why you have the creases could be due to the corrector and concealer being pretty creamy,I have friends who used to use the same products as you and they still had the creasing that's why I like to use setting liquid so I can dry a bit.. as for the blending in with the rest of your skin tone, its best to bring the concealer down a bit, to the tops of the cheek, hopefully that makes sense!

Hi! I have those exact dark circles! They are hereditary and i have always struggled with them. Never have i found something that will cover them up and not crease! Can i use that corrector alone with no concealer on top?? I feel that the more products i use, the more creasing i get😏

I'm fair skinned and have ridiculous dark circles that I've fought for years. At the moment I use the Bobbi Brown corrector (light peach) or Napolean The One Concealer (in the peachy colour). Put that on first then let it settle for a bit, add your foundation (I use quite a full coverage) with a damp beauty blender. Make sure u get into ur creases with the beauty blender then immediately put setting powder under ur eyes (before any creasing starts, sus KZbin a bit more). I use Laura mercier or I have Elf has a good cheap version. Good luck, it's just a lot of trial and error

Wow, that came out beautifully!! I’ve been looking for a method that works for me & have about 50 different concealer’s & color correctors, lol. I actually have the Esteé Lauder double wear concealer from a while ago that I was using on my face & stopped because it was way too orange for my face, so yay; I can’t wait to try your method today! The only under eye setting powder I’ve tried that work’s for me is Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro-Powder by IT Cosmetics (what a mouth full!!) thanks so much for this video!!! i heard so much about the EL DW foundation and concealer! i went a week and a half ago to try them out and they were so amazing! and didn't feel heavy on the skin. i did however purchase the waterproof version of the concealer (i am oily when the weather heats up AND i wear glasses). i don't have it right now, have to pick it up tomorrow cuz i got a GWP so hopefully the concealer shade looks ok when i apply it at home.. the Cover FX concealer has amazing coverage and brightens my undereye like no tomorrow BUT it does crease a lot and doesn't stay on :( i did also wear Pro Longwear concealer a long time ago then moved onto other concealers. was great, didn't even need to powder BUT they didn't have colors that were orange/salmon enough.. didn't wear correctors that time. Not sure if I'll need it but I will try your method with the DW underneath and Pro Longwear on top! i also just switched to DW concealer from the Maracuja Concealer. it also did brighten up my eyes but for me, it only looked good for a few hours then it started breaking down and i'd get oily, even when i used just a tiny bit. BTW, NYX has an orange foundation mixer which i did purchase! i haven't tried mixing it with concealers yet tho

Some people like playing with makeup. There are hundreds of thousands of videos on KZbin. Perhaps you should watch the ones that are more suited to your taste.

I don’t do it for anyone to like me better, lol. I like me better when I feel good about myself. When I look as good as I am on the inside as I do on the outside, I feel balanced & more whole 😊

Lmao shut the fuck up. You dont know what it's like to go to work without makeup and "oh my gosh are you sick?" "did you sleep last night?" "did you get punched?" because i didn't have concealor on to hide my purple circles. I'll let people see me for who I am when idiots stop asking if im sick, been abused, or stayed up all night. Laastly, if you see someone for who they are based on their make up you're an idiot.

I'm nearly 50 and have had black eyes since I was a toddler. Now I have fine lines under my eyes too. I only wear makeup for special occasions. So half dozen times a year. I've hunted all my life for a way to make my dark circles go away or to hide them. Nothing works. I'd give anything to find a way to look like I didn't just go 2 rounds with Sugar Ray. With or without makeup.
