I met my Philippina wife online in 2013, after about a year of talking online, I traveled to the Philippines to meet her in person. I only traveled there to meet her. She introduced me to her father, mother & siblings. They had a wonderful dinner for me. They made me feel like part of the family. They were very welcoming. We have been married for over 10 years now. Life is great! God is great! I am truly blessed.

Online worked for me! I met my filipina on Cupid during the pandemic so we had plenty of time to get to know each other on video calls. All of her basics on her profile were compatible with mine so we had that covered. Then finally after 2 years of LDR I flew to Manila to meet her in person and we spent the next 2 months living together playing house before I decided to retire permanently to the Philippines. I came back to Manila 4 months later, applied for my SRRV, and we've been together ever since. She's half my age, beautiful, sweet, and takes care of me like no other woman ever has before. As hard of a pill as that is to swallow.. Its VERY TRUE. for example--If you meet 14 filipinas over the course of 2-3 days in a coffee shop and talk for 45 min... you will find out what they REALLY are like without putting the sex act in the equation... I think sex with a stranger, just clouds the judgement exponentially when looking for a future wife. Or even a long term GF that will be faithful to you--....Now .25 years ago my raging harmones would have said otherwise, but now that I'm older, I'm wiser..

Been through more discussions online with different Filipinas than I can count. I was almost ready to give up and wait until I relocate there, and I met one that really caught my attention. We have been talking for some time now and have serious discussions on many topics and our personal opinions. We talk twice a day (because of the 12-hour time difference) and so far I don't see that there has been a red flag for either of us. I'm flying over for 2-1/2 weeks in October and it's specifically to spend time with her to confirm if our feelings in person. If I have one piece of advise to give anyone out there it's this................Don't go through girl after girl afraid that there's one maybe better around the corner. If you find a good Filipina that you are attracted to grab onto her, because if she feels the same way about you she will make you priority number one and truly care for you for the rest of your life.

If I was a single young fella and wanting to meet a young Filipina I would go on-line for sure. I think being able to look at a profile would be very helpful. I was introduced to my lovely bride through a friend at work. His Filipina wife had a niece who had just come to California and was working as a nurse from the province. I met the niece at a Christmas party at their house. We talk a while and this is what she said” I don’t need a man and I don’t need you, but you are nice, and funny I like you”. Anywhere between 4-18 months depends on the state that handles the I-130. Also the upside to the CR1 is that it will be cheaper and also they will get their green card once they enter in the US without having to file a lot more paper work.

I was thinking about this as well. In the west, you definitely want to wait for her to find you. She has to adore you more or you are doomed before you start due to hypergamy of the female mind. And yet in the PH it is more understood that a woman wants the man to take charge of the pursuit. I'm on-line now and trying it both ways. After a week I am leaning towards waiting for her to contact me. If it's not a scammer on predator mode, then her contacting you means that she finds you handsome and likes your profile. Then you can look at hers and evaluate the next move.

I think the biggest problem with online is how guys tend to loose themselves on poor selections instead of vetting who they are talking to. If you fall in love with someone without even asking good questions or seeing the red flags, then who is really at fault? The scammer or the simp who allows himself to be scammed?

I totally agree it is worth putting in the effort before you arrive and if people can actually put in the work then maybe it would work out better for them. I used a ‘cheap’ site and I must have sent out over 200 emails in the first few weeks. Sure I got plenty of replies but it took over a month to weed out who was legit and who was just not compatible and then eventually narrowing it down to one who shares most of my own values and goals. After chatting for about 4 months, I went to meet to see how that works out. Now I can say I am on the right path. Just put in the work, vet your prospects carefully and don’t fall for someone until you actually meet in person. Falling in love with someone online is a recipe for disaster.

Great Video once again. When you mention for people to go and watch a specific video, from the past, I would suggest putting it in the i card stuff that pops up on the right corner of a youtube video for people. An example would be when you said you had done a whole video on how you met, in the past, and said you can go and watch that if you want to see it. That is where I would suggest putting that in the i card in the top right hand corner of your videos and then just point towards it and mention the video will be there. Or if you add the exact link to it in your video info and say you will put it there.

I returned 5 months later for a month and took her and her 2 kids to Dumaguete. Also a great time. Last trip I took just her for 21 days to Bali, Cebu and Bohol. I enjoyed our 1 on 1 time then we returned to her town and spent a week with the kids. I’ll be heading over again in November 2 days after thanksgiving. I’ll be there till just past New Years. I recommend definitely get over and put boots on the ground as soon as possible

@@thomasw78 I work in the home improvement business where I meet with customers to design and then sell them a remodel. The company then completes the work. December is a slow month. My employer has 5 people that do what I do so they are ok with me taking a month off. But, I am 100% commission based so when I don’t work I don’t get paid. I did this last year as well and had a great time in the Philippines and Bali.

After securing the scene, the soldiers told them "Let's go home" and it was the perfect thing to say. Everybody knows what home is. It's where you belong. It's where you know you are where you are meant to be and doing what you are meant to be doing. That's the feeling I'm going to be looking for. Pretty, feminine energy, a nice person, yes, these are important qualities, but are you at peace? I feel so broken after my divorce too. I think it brings self doubt as to "what is wrong with me?" and if you can't trust yourself, how can you ever trust another person? Quick sex seems to be the perfect way to chemically mess yourself up. Just go for smiles and enjoy the cafe, the waterfalls, her time and energy. Settle when the "vibes" are peace.

HI Cory, I met my now wife online. I agree totally. So much easier online to cover the basics. Then all you have to worry about is if you get along in person and go from there. And after you've been together for a while, it fun to recall how and what was said before meeting in person. My only advice is if they ask for money for any reason, run for the hills. haha

I'm always intersted to hear your story, I'm going through something similar but my girlfriend is from Vietnam. We have been talking 2 years and 10 months! But I'm finally going over to vietnam to meet her in 2 weeks, super nervous but very excited. Unless someone has been through a LDR then you wont understand. Before this happened to me if someone told me what I've been through I would call them crazy, but I'm happy. A LDR does have it's problems, but I personal feel like it's made us strong. I hope I don't come back and change my mind, I'm also spending 3 weeks with her. Anyway thanks for sharing your story and here is to finding your special person anywhere in the world. I often think how lucky we are that we get this opportunity to connect thousands of miles away from each other. Great video guys. I enjoy all your videos, they have definitely played a part of my current life and plans. I’m looking forward to retiring in the Philippines. Living a simple quiet existence with my life partner there. I met my filipina on TikTok. She has 9000 plus followers so it’s been interesting to say the least. We are on our 7th month and we are 24/7 on messenger. I’m planning an end of year trip to a new life with her. She’s a very fun girl to chat with and we get along amazingly well. She’s teaching me Tagalog and I’m teaching her English. My initial plan was to retire in Hawaii but I felt drawn to the Philippines in my research then after meeting my Queen on TikTok, that solidified my retirement location. Things have changed so much when it comes to finding a match... I guess it is better in some ways and perhaps not so in some cases... There's a whole new set of variables to deal with that these days are important... Scammers, fake pregnancies, already married women presenting themselves as not, etc. The old-fashioned methods were not any better I guess... Just different... Glad I'm not in the market, lol! With there being over 7,300 islands I can't speak for all of them and if I explained how it is on just one, I would get attacked and corrected by people on the other islands. I talked to a filipina for several years. I wasnt sure about here but eventually we met in Manila and spent a week together. I knew after that week that it wasnt going to work. She wanted to have sex without condoms. I refused. That set some tension and she continued to try and make everything about her. It didnt take but another week after getting home for her to confirm that she was not the one. I called it off. Ive been talking with another filipina for a few months and so far everything seems great. Im heading out there in January so we can meet and spend some time together and make sure we are right for each other.

I visited two years ago, including Cebu and Dumaguete. Davao was extraordinarily friendly so that's why it's too of my list. I was asked for selfies and also I walked into a big venue and the band stopped playing and welcomed me. It was wonderful but also slightly embarrassing In a way.

Definitely better online rather than in person because you have to develop a relationship through mutual dialog, conversations and asking and answering questions. I met my Filipina wife exactly 12 years ago last Monday. Got married in Phil two years ago and we now are living together as husband and wife here in New Zealand. Life is great and I couldn't be happier. My Filipina wife is my soul mate and the sunshine who brightens my day and ny life. Wonderful

Part of the problem meeting in person is they are so reserved, if not painfully shy. Especially outside of the cities. It's cute but Filipinas open to or even looking for a foreigner to settle down with likely interacted with 'the one' but were not outgoing enough for it to lead to anything. Probably fairly common, definitely unfortunate. You'd almost certainly have to meet other foreigners and then maybe have them set you up with a girl they know. Maybe there are Filipina matchmakers? Could make some decent money doing that these days.
