Would you rather hit a *draw* or a *fade* ? ⛳
@davmar8754

A (weak) fade for the last 20 years and a draw for the last 3 weeks (and next 20 years😊) since my pro changed my grip, ball position and club path during a one hour lesson with Trackman. I can think strategy now, instead of technique.Happy man on course!

Fade! Draw is fools gold. Too much can go wrong esp with higher club head speeds.

Good morning, I really enjoy your teaching, but I'm confused with the start of the downswing, do you just pull down with left hand all the way through or when does the right come into play

I have never been more impressed with any other coaching videos than what you and mike produce. I work on "hitting the nail" which is not easy to start with but when I do, boy is the contact good. Really appreciate you sharing your experience and quality coaching.

Your videos are SOLID! So much info, even in the little things you mention along the way. I’m a “swayer” and what always centers me is putting my feet together so I can’t sway, take a few shots, go back to normal

I saw a pro coach yesterday and I spent two hours with him to correct my technique and this video just summarized PERFECTLY what I learned. On top of it, it gives another drill I didn’t try yet. This channel is gold to me. The only thing I’m struggling implementing from here is the hip bump.

Adam you are truly one of the best coaches out there. After watching 20+ of your videos I have taken a couple of your tips and seen a big improvement. Your grip technique is huge and the nail and hammer feel is a game changer. I have lowered my cap from an 11 to an 8 this year and shot a PR 74 a month ago. I hope one day to be able to fly put to San Diego and get some personal lessons.

Makes the golf swing a flowing movement the body rotating back and through rather than staged positions and believing the arms and shoulders controlled the swing which is what I have been practicing. Everything explained in an uncomplicated fashion. Thanks.

Thoughts on Mike Bender? He emphasizes a lot the hands and wrists at impact. Do you advocate for quiet hands at impact? I’d love for you to make a video at impact and follow through! I still tend to shrink after impact and get a chicken wing 😔 Thanks a lot for the great content! Best instruction in KZbin!

Great video Adam as always and this really helps. Should I try to concentrate my vision on the low spot in front of the ball, the ball, or somehow view the ball to end of divot strip, or something else?

Different for everyone but with a shorter club you can visualize hitting right down on top of it! As they get longer a little more through!

Yes it is square. If you are having some trouble with rotation then flaring the lead foot will aid that!

I'm trying to understand the hands and arms. In this lesson Adam says they do nothing - they just go with the opening of the left side. But in 2 previous lessons I heard him say that he feels that the arms and hands move very fast to get in front of the body.

Does the “drive the nail” feel apply for all clubs?
@PorzakGolf

Hey Andy! Yes it does. But remind you, that the set up for wedges, irons and driver are all different. Hammering the wall will help the club have a more downward delivery into the ball!

I’m a flipper. This looks almost like stack and tilt, no?
@PorzakGolf
@PorzakGolf Жыл бұрын
The difference between the Stack and tilt versus establishing the "Hip Bump" is that the lead shoulder still rotates back toward the trail foot and applies pressure on the inside of the trail foot in the backswing when initiating the Hip bump. Where as the stack and tilt is the weight stays over the lead foot the whole time

You were telling him to not hit the ball at the 7 or 8 o'clock position but rather the 5 o'clock position. I know that you want to have him swing left, but that seems so contrary to so much instruction. Are you advocating for a fade?
