I bought a Luxome cooling weight blanket removable bamboo/milky cover Large 18lbs. And I’m telling you I loved it. I bought a cheap weight blanket before. Don't remember the name, and Don't care. It was horrible the weight shifting, and it gets really hot, but this Luxome its not doing that. I’m 5.8” 177lbs athletic build. At first, I want heavier weight because Luxome only goes up to 18lbs, but it’s heavy enough for me. I can see people commenting it’s too heavy for 18lbs blanket, and it is, and it’s heavy for me that workout every day, so for those not working out or elder probably heavier. I think to try it first if it’s to light for you then go heavier with a different brand or put a 10lbs weight plate on top of you While sleeping, lol. Hope this comment help, and thank you for your review 👍🏼

That’s what I hate about weighted blankets. I’ve used a couple cheaper ones and the beads always end up bunched up. So I was looking into the Gravity or Bearaby.

I think I would like the Honeybird blanket because of its even weight distribution. The idea of having a weighted blanket with "dead spots" and heavier spots sounds uncomfortable. I like that they made sure the weight is even all around. And the 2 sided cover makes it great for all seasons. I'm going to read about it to see if it comes in a bigger size though.

@Sterre X I got the Honeybird 15 pound blanket. I tried sleeping with the blanket for a couple of weeks, but I always felt TRAPPED. I would wake up in the middle of the night to take the blanket off. It is a GREAT blanket, because the weight stays on top of you. And it doesn't get too hot. I think I should've gotten a lighter weight. But I definitely reccomend Honeybird.

You forgot a very important thing! The weight to size ratio. If the blanket weighs 20 pounds for a queen bed, it is equal to or heavier than 30 pounds for a king bed ... And you forgot to mention the Hush Ice 2.0 which is cooler than the other models and very popular!
@danman58573 жыл бұрын

thanks bro, i was shopping around for a weighted blanket but was getting lost in all the choices. my biggest concern is feeling overly hot when i sleep. you totally sold me on the baraby blanket. not only is it heavy, soft, and stretchable, but because it's cotton, it seems to be washable so no extra need for a cover, and also it has as you pointed out large holes so air can release. it's a bit pricey at their website of 260 bucks, but to me its worth it. i will be getting it if our second stimulus check ever gets approved. lol

First time on your channel and I’m SOOO curious about why you have 2 beds lol Alright, focus.. my question is - and I notice you don’t really answer the comments here, so if anyone could help - for a king/shared bed, what would be better: get a king shared blanket or each of us get individual blankets? I know this is a personal choice but I just want to hear from somebody that’s in the same situation. Only time we used weighed blankets were in Hotels and I loved it.
@Mattressclarity3 жыл бұрын
Hey Camila! We film these videos on a set, so I don't actually sleep there. Haha. We have two beds because having two bed frames makes it easier to film mattress head to head comparisons. My personal preference is having individual blankets. You should probably choose a weighted blanket that is about 10% your body weight. If you are sharing that blanket weight with someone else, you might not get the full beneficial effect of the blanket. However, if you and your partner are OK with sharing the blanket then that is fine, but you may have to get a heavier blanket so that it equals to 10% of yours and the weight of your partner. I hope that helps!
