@0:47 the guy was RUBBING a polyethylene tank with a rag to clean up an obviously Flammable liquid. The electro-static discharge ignited the spill.

Yeah he was lucky to make the term backing up, but then to drive straight with everything those forks up in the air? That was entirely on him... or his trainer.

Back in the 1990's, in the Corps, when we still flew on CH-46 Sea Stallions, they fell out of the sky so often that there was training facility at MCAS Cherry Point, called the Helo Dunker. It was to train you to escape from a 46 crashing in the ocean.

I would say the clip at 27secs was a workplace safety success , without the safety harness the result would have probably been a fatality .
@Zzrdemon6633
@Zzrdemon6633 Ай бұрын
An improperly fitted harness will cause severe internal injuries from a fall that far, and in 40 years of doing and watching arial work the only time anyone wore a harness properly was during training after that everything was loosened so you could wear it all day.

The guy with the face shield boy that saved them boy. He must been using a cutting tool boy that must have shot it. Boy, if he didn't have the face shield on he be going to the hospital already. Good thing he's always wear safety equipment when doing dangerous jobs. Thank you.

Thanks friend for the response back. About the guy wearing a safety shield, people that operate power tools or anything they should think of safety first then it's all right. Boy good thing he had that face shield on that saved them. Boy that was probably not even an inch away from his face when it went through the shield that cutting disc. Thank you.

Btw if someone falls and is just laying there, don’t try to stand them up. I didn’t see it happen, but someone where I work fell from a ladder. He was just laying there and someone helped him stand. As soon as he stood up he died.

Whatever liquid they were transferring at about :45, there HAD to be a better way to do that. Process Hazard Assessment was probably not done. There should have been some kind of piping to prevent it from being exposed to the open air.

The clip with angle grinder and cut off wheel broke and man with face shield is BS fake. The 2 halfs are totally different pieces from 2 different cut off wheels. Sizes are different and only one of the halfs had any printing on it.
