Baizhu might have a ton of layers and patterns on clothing to play into the "shedding skin" of a snake motif a lil bit too fwiw potentially

I'm sorry but Sigewinne's design pisses me off so much because they could have had a blue skinned weird alien slug character but they decided to play it safe and make her look like a human. How difficult would it be to just paint her skin blue instead of coming up with whatever in-game excuse they made so she wouldn't look like the slug people who are everywhere in Fontaine??? Wouldn't it be neat to have a character with blue skin????? Why would you dangle that in front of us just to rip it away?

they can give us a blue skinned character in ZZZ (soukaku) but not in genshin for some reason yeah i rlly wish they let her just be a melusine, would've made her stand out a lot more

funfact, xilonen has glitter on her legs but it's so close to her skin color that you literally have to be told she has them to notice it. Also, every iteration of his name is "Olorun", but they made him "Ororun" in English.

btw they didnt steal the dance, but them changing it shows they probably scanned her movements, like the girl said in her tik tok she doesn't own the dance so if they kept it they wouldn't have even got into legal trouble. Also the video comparing them are edited, if you pay attention they chopped the video to make it look like they were in sync

I just want to add an extra note: Alhaitham is based on the Egyptian deity of wisdom, "thoth." He is a scribe who taught writing and language and is an interpreter. He is also an advisor for other gods and settles disputes with rationality. He is depicted as a dude with a green bird head, though the bird motif is quite subtle. Thoth is connected to Ma'at (Kaveh), who is the goddess of stuff like morality, harmony, exuilibrium, and truth (especially in social interactions). She is depicted with wings and a green feather as a head accessory. She judges the heart and balances what a person has done with what is right in their life. Ma'at is also considered a CORE principle in being an honorable scribe. "Embracing ma'at" and appreciating her principles was important . Thoth was described in an ancient text as the one "who reveals Maat and reckons Maat; who loves Maat and gives Maat to the doer of Maat." " A scribe is urged to follow the precepts of Maat in his private life as well as his work." Ma'at is so interconnected with scribes that "Ma'at literature" is its own genre of scripture. Also, Thoth and Ma'at are MADLY in love with eachother. Married and have a child together called Seshat. Seshat is very very similar to Thoth... though, a funny detail is she's deity of,arctiecture and building.. sus (also math and stuff, but arcietecture...) Most of this doesn't have much to do with their designs other than "very subtle bird moteifs," but it's just a fun connection about the two I don't often see mentioned anywhere. Also, my knowledge of Egypt's history isn't very deep; I haven't hyperfixated on it for very long yet. I just wanted an excuse to share this....

i think olorun [ororon] is supposed to be nigerian which makes his design even more concerning, like im not nigerian nor a character designer, but u dont have to be a chef to tell that the food is ass
