Have you guys heard of the JKE dock? It’s a tube/bar that screws in along the inside of the windshield and you can clamp in various types of mounts on it for phones or other off-roading equipment. I keep a rubber duck on mine as a travel companion

Very nice phone holder and charger guys. I don't have any use for it though as I use a 67 Designs phone holder in my TJ , but if I was in the market for one I would definitely look into this . Until next time take care and be safe guys.

That mount does actually look very nice! Weird that it was for 03 to 06 - I didn't know there was a difference in that center piece on the TJs! I've been using a phone holder that goes into the CD player slot (because who has CDs anymore?!). Does your shifter get close to the phone? I'm not sure if it would work for me - I have a hand throttle and I've bent my shifter (long story, haha!).

Yeah, the mounts are very vehicle specific, even model year, it's the real deal. It actually got close and we have since added an adapter that moves the whole unit up about 2 inches. No issues at all

I had one that mounted to the passenger bar and then it broke when the passenger seat hit it while someone was getting in the back. Does this allow for space to actually pull the passenger seat all the way forward?

Not crazy about spending almost $100 for a mount. But I have a 10.2" ipad i bought specifically for gps, and its almost impossible to find a decent mount for it in my JK.

I have been a long time fan of pro clip mounts, and I chose the same for my manual 2001 TJ. I have found that if you center the holder on the mount, the clearance between the holder and shifter is very tight. The shifter itself does not hit the phone (an iphone XS), but your fingers do when shifting from and to 5th gear and you have to adjust your hold on the shifter to a not so natural position. I repositioned the phone holder in order to line up with the top of the pro clip, and I have some more clearance. I am keeping the holder because I like the quality and positioning of it, but the clearance issue is something to be taken into consideration when mounting it on a stick shift jeep. Great video by the way!

They sell adjustment brackets to move the entire phone up or down a few inches! We just got ours!
