this is such a good video! I have thoughts of carcamping and (first step) buying cars for SUCH A LONG TIME but was pretty intimidated by the price of SUVs I could find online. Your vids just inspired me that i don't need the fancy features of a SUV and I could start riding on the road asap! Thanks and looking forward to watching the next vides!!!

I love seeing where you go exploring each time and how you make adventures like this fit into a normal (non-van life) life. Inspiring me to do more of it and not just wait for backpacking season to come back around. Two Qs. Can you share your process for finding free car camping spots in nature and what, if any, apps you use? What was your favorite spot to car camp within 3-4 hours of the Bay Area?

Thank you! That means a lot (: I made a short about how I find dispersed camping spots! My favorite is the national forest outside of Tahoe, just be careful of keeping food in your car (bears). Hope you enjoy your adventures!! - kzbin.infoqi4MvuhhDbI

I was at Mt. Shasta in July! It was one of the first areas I started car camping and solo hiking after watching your channel. There is something very special about the view of Mt. Shasta. Happy and safe travels Kate!

Yep, I love living out of my car too, even though I have a home to go back to. But I’d say it’s nice to have both options. I’m a vanlifer 😊

Stunning places. I'd likely have ran in the road to capture that view, too. For healthy eating while travelling, I find good old thermoses handy. I make something at home, like soup, and take it with me. In towns, I look for smaller/local grocery chains that focus on healthier options and check out the prepared food, as I can usually find something better and healthier than restaurant/fast food. One even had build your own stir-fries. I usually pack some fruit and nuts, too, as they keep well, and a post-hike orange tastes especially good. (BTW: today my Mazda 3 passed 125,000 miles).

There are short term houseboat rentals on lake shasta so that could be those sunrise boat people, if they weren't fishing (could be both too). Rent out a houseboat, have some fun, anchor somewhere for the night, wake up and have some more fun. I've done it and it is indeed fun.

Great analysis, thank you! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

Thanks for another fun video. I enjoy your adventures. Regarding California gas prices; the state requires oil companies to use a different formula that reduces emissions more than other states. The end result is gas at $1 more than other places. As someone who has lived here my whole life, I see how much better the air is now. For me, the benefits outweigh the extra cost. Happy travels!
