Best Year Of The 6.7 Powerstroke

In this video I talk about why my year (2017-2019) is my favorite. This is my opinion however and I welcome disagreement if you think there's another year that is better! The 2020-2022 model years are certainly close and those are my favorite body style for sure. Let me know what year you think is best and why in the comments below.

I also have a 19... Lariat. It has been great.. about 80000 miles so far. Mostly maintenance issues and a few warranty items. I change my fuel filters every 10k. I also run the hot shot additive for lubrication. I did however break the high pressure line to the upper fuel filter and replaced the coupling with an after market... I like the 6 speed too. Well tested. I like your channel.

Thank you! It sounds like you are really dialed with your maintenance. Those 19 lariats are beautiful trucks. How did the high pressure fuel like break happen?

@@powerstrokemaintenance I got in a hurry trying to release that line. It is small and somewhat brittle. I've read that it is kind of a problem if you are not careful. It is a great truck. I'm out in so cal .... it's got an easy life. Ha. I also replaced the cold side intake hose... it split at about 44000.

Ah gotcha! Yeah those hoses are a pain. What cold side pipe did you go with? I put the S&B on at 90k and love it

@@powerstrokemaintenance First of all, I believe the 6R140 has proven itself to be pretty reliable and 2015 was the first year where they changed turbos, injectors from previous generation and was the first year where the exhaust brake was introduced. The CP4 is concerning but that affects every 6.7 year, thankfully I got the DCR ready to install.
