In addition to being a magnificent entertainer, he was a humanitarian and a philanthropist who gave away millions to charities and notable causes in his lifetime. He knew what it meant to be poor and never forgot his roots. There will never be another Elvis. RIP Elvis and thank you for everything. Gone but never to be forgotten.

My Aunt balled for hours and then days when she learned Elvis had passed! He really made an emotional connection with her through his music. Not unlike Michael Jackson or Neil Peart of Rush. Music is it's own language and speaks to people on many levels. I have no musical ability at all, yet I love all types of music. Can you imagine living on Earth without music? I can't!
