I. LOOOVE. FISH. EYES. it’s so good!!! My favorite is fish heads, but when I cook them I always go for the eyes first. So much omega3, and it tastes like pure fish fat. Like how you’d imagine bone-marrow tasting, but fishier and gelatinous. It’s my favorite! As a kid I used to get teased and bullied when my classmates found out my grandma was feeding me cheap off cuts of meat, like chicken legs and fish heads, so I stopped eating it for a long time because I wanted to be liked, then I realized I liked food more than the people I had something to prove to. So I love eating the cheap cuts of meat again. Also, if you find whole oxtails (or lamb tails), with the fat and gelatinous skin around - send them to me. 😍
