I think this Undyne voice might be my favorite Undyne. I've seen some good Undynes but a lot of them sound the same because they go for a general "tough girl" voice and don't really do anything beyond that. I really like the slight lisp that this Undyne has (whether it's intentional or not) because it makes the voice more distinct, fits the character's look (dem teeth), and it adds a lot to the lines where she acts goofy or over-the-top. This Undyne's laugh is probably my favorite as well. PhantomSavage's Payprus is also one of my favs because it's one of the few Paps that doesn't sound like a 1:1 Skeletor impersonation. I'm not knocking the ones that do sound like Skeletor, but I appreciate VAs who try something different.

I love both of your voices so much! You're an amazing Undyne, the best I've heard thus for tbh, and PhantomSavage's Papyrus was amazing too! (Idc if there are people who think that there are better voice actors, the most important thing is that he had fun and that he really put effort into it - and I can tell he did, he's an awesome Papyrus!) This video is perfect. Thanks for doing this. *sigh* Y'know I wish I was confident enough to dub something like this but I really hate my accent (English isn't my first language) - and my voice sounds funny too...

I hate it when people compare everything. It's incredibly rude and disregards the efforts of the voice actor(s). I know what it feels like when you put your heart and soul into a project and the only thing you get is “XY did this WAY better.” You're BOTH amazing voice actors, I can tell that both of you were putting so much effort into it, your emotions were spot an. And if you had fun, it makes watching the video even more enjoyable! Okay, two main reasons (well, three tbh) 1) Undertale (at least to my knowledge) hasn't been officially translated. It would be really hard to translate it and my editing isn't good enough to make it look like in the original. Besides that, so much would get lost in translation (especially puns… and the charm it has) 2) I don't know anybody who speaks my language AND likes the Game AND is a voice actor… sooo… meh… (The third reason kinda is that I'd love to dub it in English because I love the English language and most of the community knows English, so more people could enjoy it - and also… I-I'd like to dub with some people (you included) who ARE English speakers… But I'm too shy (kinda) to ask and too afraid of rejection… meh…. plus the whole accent-thing… I'm a bit scared it'd put people off). I watched the "Captain of the Royal Guard" video, and while your Undyne voice is fantastic, I wasn't sure if you could pull off any serious dialogue with her.
