We have a long haired Chiweenie and I’m really enjoying watching this channel. I see the biggest difference in ours is his face is shorter. But the length of body, short legs, and weight are right there. I love the elevated bath tub you have that is going to be a must. Leaning over the tub is a back breaker.

I love this video. Thank you for showing and explaining those techniques. I will say, my dachshund is not a show dog, but he has that fluffy chest fur (Whisky has in video) on both of his sides and I’m worried he will be too hot this summer as he already is this spring. He does not like strangers so I will have to do the work myself. I AM willing to! Do you have any recommendations on fluffy hair side trimming?

You said you could use a 10 or a 12 blade. on the neck. Where do you find a 12 blade? Is it shorter than a 10?
