I set up this printer and was able to copy. When I try to print from my computer, the I get the message that "cannot be found". Should I have a cord that connects the printer to my mac mini?

The output tray extends automatically when the print process starts. I do not find the on line user manual an issue - the software loaded an icon on my home screen so all I have to do is select that icon. I do not find it difficult to use.

Any advice on getting the automatic document tray to return to its resting position so when the printer is turned off the screen it doesn’t press against it? Wish I could explain this better haha

I'm pretty sure I have an idea of what you're talking about. If the printer is a lot older, it may just be that it's losing that functionality. But if it's newer, I'm wondering if you reset the printer settings or if you positioned the tray differently may go back to its resting position.

Yes. It auto-duplexes both scanning and printing.

I just purchased this printer (7100 Expression Premium} and couldn't figure out how to open the paper tray. After much frustration, I finally lifted up the printer and looked "underneath" the printer and found there was a piece of the blue tape used for shipping that was holding it. After removing the tape, it still wouldn't open. After unpacking it, I had laid down a piece of that rubber type anti skid shelf liner on my desktop to protect it from scratches etc. from the printer. After removing that and just having the printer directly on the flat bare desktop, the paper tray now opens. I was hoping you would do a review on the cd that came with it. Otherwise, good video.

Do you have any printers you'd recommend for Art prints? Im looking to open up my own etsy store and I need a good quality printer for A4+ size art prints. I will need it to handle a large amounts of prints without burning out. Multiple paper feeder trays would be nice as well. I don't know much about printers so looking for a good one has been a bit of a challenge, I want to get a good printer that will last me a long time. I have also noticed for most of the printers I have seen finding ink refills for them will be a problem. Please help!

We are having trouble with it refusing to print when a new set of cartridges were replaced. We have to take them out, give them a small shake and reinstall and sometimes it will print, but usually not. Thanks..

I’ve tried printing envelopes from windows 10 and even when I chose cassette 2, envelopes it still tries to print a CD. Is there a solution for this?

Oh gosh, I tried printing from my android phone and it was so troublesome and complicated that I was on the phone with Epson Support for 30 minutes just to print ONE PHOTO! That is the definition of insanity. I do not recommend this printer.

Hi.. I do make my own cards and use a 65 and 85 lb smooth and shimmer cardstock and all of my prints come out beautiful. I do use the bottom paper tray (cassette 2) that option should come up on your computer when you go to print. However, it cannot handle the 110lb. I am very impressed with this printer as I am very fussy on how my prints look. Well worth the purchase. Hope this helps...🙂

I can't get mine to print on both sides. I followed the directions but it just keeps printing on two pieces of paper. So frustrating!! My HP was a breeze to handle but this one is a pain. the paper drawers are awful to put back in. It feels like it is going to break!

I'm 57 years old and have used dozens of business grade copiers and home copiers. This is the worst copier I've ever used. It does NOT come with a user manual so you are left to figure out everything on your own. (Or if you have a ton of time to waste, the user manual online is 328 pages long. Three-hundred-twenty-eight pages.) I've had so many problems with this printer. Every time I want to use it, I have to call the Epson help line and they have to talk me through it. Many problems with printing photos....very complicated. The ink is so freaking expensive....$50 to $75 for a pack of colors. It uses up the ink quickly. The printer is heavy but the parts (paper trays, paper feeder on the top, the "flaps" that have to come out to turn on, etc.) are very flimsy and you have to handle it with a light hand (gently) . If you don't mind wasting a lot of time troubleshooting...be my guest and by this. I've owned this printer for a year and have purposefully avoided using it whenever possible because it is such a pain in the Bazooka.

The software must have been improved over the past 2 years. I bought mine in 2022 and have had no problems. Using the online user guide does not present an issue for me. A printed version would be cumbersome.

Marbled I agree with you ,I bought 3 weeks ago one and just returned today ,this printer is frustrating to use ,makes a lots noise for long time before prints after you press print on the PC and takes a long time to start to print, and again more noise after finish print, and will do this every time you try print anything it looks like is going thru so many cycle before start to print lot waist of time to used , FOR SURE NOT RACCOMENDED

I have read that you have to manually (!) open the front (assuming it was closed) before printing is possible - so when you're not in the same room, you first need to go there for opening before printing is possible. Is that correct?!

This printer would not accept any NEW EPSON INK after the original ink was used. Have not had a printer available for over one and a half months . Tried all suggestions found on the Internet. Called Epson twice, they sent new ink and it still will not work. Am returning the printer to Epson. I am afraid to even try any refilled ink cartridges. I am not impressed with this printer.

Did you buy the right TYPE of Epson ink? Because the number on the box is extremely important. You can’t just dump any old ink in there, and that goes for all printers
