They should have the same printhead.

Thank you for this video. The yellow is just completely clogged, nothing is coming out. I'm hoping this fixes it.

@@BestPrinters it cleared it but unfortunately fluid leaked thru to the motherboard and caused internal damage. I think it's best to completely cover the inside while doing this to avoid any leakage

Performed the cleaning procedure as shown here (Epson XP 8605). After that the printer went thru print head cleaning, printed one page (badly) and then died. Done. Error 033006 contact support. I dont think the printer has printed more than 200 pages in its whole miserable life. But went through 2 sets of ink cartridges in that time, and then got clogged badly so that standard cleaning procedure didnt work. Never again, it's a crap. Looks nice but it's a bad bad product.

You're right. It's crap. You'll end up spending more in replacement cartridges than buying a new printer.

I did this and the print test came out perfect, I then tried to print a picture and the printer is now dead and will not turn on at all.

No, I did not realise that I ahd to, so I suppose I have buggered my printer, only two years old as well. You live and learn I suppose.

It's rubbish. Leave it one week and you have clogged up heads. You'll spend a fortune on ink if you buy this. Admittedly it is brilliant at scanning and wi-i connectivity is good but print consumables will bankrupt you.
