I just ordered one of these--- because the TS702a I ordered WILL NOT WORK with LINUX. BUT - this one has drivers in gutenprint and foomatic-- and once I've used this one for a good while-- I can always convert it to sublimation for later use elsewhere... THANKS..

According to the written set up instructions you are supposed to shake the BLACK ONLY cartridge three/four times before installing it.

It means you have run out of ink and need to purchase more. You can check how much you have at the top on the screen on the water or in this case ink drop

6:42 I hate that the paper sticks out of the printer when it's not in use. I wish the paper waas inside like it is in most printers so that the paper has less of a chance of being folded or folding from so much time it's not used. I will have to find another affordable printer...or maybe learn to deal with it since I don't even print much? Let me print a sheet first before I decide.

You are supposed to gently shake the ink container a couple of times - I have been using Epson Printers for years & years - I was told years ago that Epson Printers were the most compatible with Apple ...(Apple staff told me)...perhaps it has changed. I have just bought this model - haven’t set it up yet !!!

Hi! So I just bought this printer and every time I go to turn it on to do the set up, it asks what language and I say English but then instead of continuing setup a screen pops up that says “printer error. Turn on the printer again. See your documents for more details”. I have turned it on and off at least twenty times and the same thing happens. I also cannot find any info that came with it regarding this issue. Is there any chance you would know how to fix this?

My last EPSON The printer started showing error 034004 3 weeks after the end of the 12 months warranty, and after purchasing a new set of ink cartridges. The local technician could not solve. The error related to jammed paper, but it disables the scanner as well. So annoying

if you print pictures on normal printer paper, you probably need to edit it first before you print. What I do is use Microsoft word doc and change the size on there before I print.

I also suggest increasing the exposure a little when editing because photos will print a little dark if you do not.If you follow these steps to edit your photos prior to printing, your photos will look too bright and too blue on your phone but they will print perfectly.Highly recommend!

it is a pretty poor printer when you start to use it, even just for letters. The scanner is not very good, my advice , don't waste your money on this printer save up for a better model regardless of brand.
