Mine keeps saying "Paper out in cassette 1". Now, cassette 1 is for photos. I don't get it? I'm using the Epson app and am printing from "documents". I found the cassette options in the menu on the printer, picked cassette 2 with plain paper. Can you help? I've even tried removing the Cassette 1.

I purchased this printer and when it was printing the test page a paper jam occurred. I was able to clear the jam but it still showed a paper jam on the screen. I returned the printer and the replacement came today. I'm nervous about setting up the replacement, because I don't know what caused the first printer to jam. I used 28 lb Hammermill Premium Color copy paper. Should I use a lighter weight paper?

If your are printing from windows 10 or 7, put in the CD. It will add the drivers and update your printer. After that you will be able to print.

Did you figure out how to print? I just bought one and it wasn’t easy. I ended up getting the app and printing from my phone. There’s a cd tray to the right of the paper load tray. Very hidden. Our friend here totally missed it.

You heard. And hell no! I suspect he will say that about any printer and its inks. I had a Canon and I replaced ink when the ink cartridges were empty. Not when the Canon advised the cartridges were empty but when the 'printed' paper showed there was hardly any ink. Doing that did not cause any problems at all.

Thanks ... best thing about this Epson XP-6100 in terms of controls is that it is NOT a touch screen. Buttons are FAR preferable...not being a touch screen it a DEFINITE PLUS/ BONUS!

Out of the box, the printer seems fine, but in practice, this XP-6100 is the worst wireless printer I've ever owned. It continuously goes offline and requires rebooting in order to print a page. It's completely terrible and I would look elsewhere.
