Nice!! I didn't know ERLS got 900hz, we need to add that for sure. 150hz or 250hz I think would not be very good for that. One little addition I would add for those who reading this :) On VTX tab you can see which SA version is detected. Some old vtxes don't match with theirs user manuals. For example rush tank vtx can be 2.0 or 2.1, but the preset works only for new rush vtxes with 2.1.

just updated my oldest 1st ever build, had to disconnect the crossfire to update the drivers 1st before it let me flash 4.3. it was a 6 inch build that flew ok but had a few vibrations i couldnt dial out no matter what i tried. whacked on your 6inch preset tune as well and daaaaamn! silk!!! nice one!!!

Omg this is awesome. Might just make it where I can finally get a smooth cinewhoop lol. Such a great idea for the presets. It should help beginners and people like me so much lol. Iv always avoided the programming side as much as possible. Get it flying decent and just fly around any issues . But after not flying it for like 4 months, it feels so loose and out of control basically. Can't wait to try this out and help me get back flying again for the warmer months atleast

A few things you can do before setting up the motors: If you have a buzzer disable it while USB is active. And if you have an analog VTX set it to pit mode. If you have an air unit (Lite) you should unplug it (or if you have it on switchable power switch that off) before plugging in a lipo for extended times on the bench.

Without RPM filter, 8k, Dshot600 is they way. Even with RPM, BF 4.3 is more efficient.

I would just wait for Stable is concerned. If you do go RC3, you can just Save and Reload setting from RC3 to Stable.

Hi Mark! Quick question- can over filtering cause hot motors? working on a cinelifter that gets hot motors, even with no payload. Dterm and gyro black box logs post filtering looks good so im not sure what the issue could be. No resonance spikes either.....so not really sure what the issue could be. The motors are 2812 1100kv on 7". I have been running 8s on this rig for the performance but it has the same issue on 6s. Appreciate any help.

Hey Mark, I was able to try out your presets for the 5 inch and the toothpick. They flew great! Thanks for making these available👍. The only issue I noticed was that on the end of power loops and quick descents, I got a little prop wash oscillations on my 3 inch toothpick. Should I gradually increase the D gain? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey Mark - I built a Shendrones Terraplane and used the Cinewhoop preset. Since this thing uses 2500kv 2207.5 motors on 6s, would I be better off using something closer to 5" pids? I had really hot motors and quite a bit of oscillations today (I used 48pwm, with RPM filter and dynamic idle) I set dynamic idle value to 30 I appreciate any guidance you can give me. Thanks!

Is there an good preset for 7 inch longrange? I get so much wobbles and some guys says I should switch to emuflight. I think my gyro noise is good filtered but still wobble and I do so much tuning last 2 weeks

Hi Mark,i have a 2S whoop with bf4.3 and esc flash with bluejay 48khz.I use your 1s,2s whoop preset with 48khz,rpm filter and dynamic idle turn on.When i increase high throttle and cutoff the whoop will not decending immediately it like floating in the air.It will not happen if low to mid throttle flying around.May i know is there other setting i miss out?

Once you have made your preset selections disconnect from BF and come back into BF can you tell what presets you have on the quad?

No. For mine, you can click the Discussions button on the pr3set to see what was suppose to apply settings wise and check that everything looks right.

Hi Mark used your preset for 5" without gopro motors were quite hot to touch after a gentle take off ( had some wobbles so never pushed it ) im going to do the whole blackbox tune guide but wanted to try my new build as is.. whats the normal issues for hot motors ?

Master Slider could be to high for your build. That or too much vibration in the frame hitting the flight controller.

Tango I don't think has an ADC filter option in FreedomTX. I would pick a 250mhz preset. So anything Tracer, etc...

it will work if you have the Ports tab setup correctly and the CRSF protocol selected in the Receivers tab, but I would still apply the Crossfire preset for optimal performance.

How about a video on how to modify PIDs after you have applied preset. For example when I apply the karate 5” 6S all the sliders are disabled. Why aren’t they showing what the values are for the preset applied?

Hi, today I've put first time BF 4.3 on my quad, micro apex 4" and have some weird problem that I cannot takeoff normally. Quad arms as usual, no funny noises and when you want to takeoff quad goes like 5cm in the air and just wont go higher, even if I put 100% throttle it will just hover 5cm from the ground. It feels like some flying mode is active that prevents me to fly normally...Just to mention, on BF 4.2.11 quad flew normal, just needed a tune. Wanted to do some blackbox logging on stock BF settings but just couldn't takeoff. Any ideas? Thanks!

Need more specifics. The gyro is working. Was it on 4.2 previous? Defaults are really the same. Did you change ESC settings?

Yes, you can. Yes, quad image is based on Acc data. But it is just an image for log analysis.

Hey, I am really struggling getting 4.3 on my Chimera 7. Tried it with and without battery connected and just says failed to open serial port top left corner when I press flash. For some reason now I have upgraded to 10.8 when I connect via usb it shows the com port like normal but next to it it says its in FS mode, is that normal or is it that what could be stopping me flashing firmware? i’ve had great luck with 4.3 on tiny whoops and 5”. But it is completely useless on cinewhoops so far. I’ve spent 20 packs or so trying to get cinewhoops that flew great on 4.2 to fly even halfway decent in 4.3 and failing. Worst symptom is half or less the flight time in 4.3. 4.2 in getting 5.5 minutes 4.3 bad shakes, hot motors and 2 minutes. Tried presets, tuning from scratch just can’t get it working well.

I tried your 4.3 preset for a 7" quad. TBS SourceOne 7" Dead cat, DJI video, Emax EcoII 2807 1700kv motors and Diatone Mamba FuryF4OSD / 55a 4in1 stack 24khz pwm, RPM filtering On, Dynamic Idle off, new and used props... My quad just bobbles and wobbles all about with no real sense of stable to be found. I even tried 48khz pwm and 96khz pwm, Dshot300 and Dshot600, the pwm frequency just made it worse as it doubled, and dshot600 overloads the cpu. what now then? go back to Betaflight 3.5.7 where this thing flew like a DREAM?

I feel like I'm almost there...but then I screw it up. Had this thing for 5 months now without being able to fly it. Tried joining local fb groups for help. Ugh
