Beterbiev wanted it more, personally I had it 114-115 to Beterbiev. Bivol won the early rounds than Beterbiev came back. What decided it for me was the championship rounds. Going into the 10th beterbiev needed to win the next 3 rounds to win the fight and that's exactly what he did. Artur outworked Bivol to win rounds 10 11 and 12.

I give beterbiev rounds 10-12 simply because Bivol gassed out, should bivol still had some stamina left, he would nullify Beterbiev's offense like he did in the early rounds which required stamina for moving a lot and faints. But i personally saw it as a draw.

Beterbiev won that fight. Front foot pressure, aggressive throughout the fight and inflicted more damage overall. Bivol was fighting in moments and had the cleaner shots but these were few and far in between, Beterbiev did more overall and deserved to win. The fact that Beterbiev out threw Bivol is an indication of Bivol’s reluctance to engage at times due to the power of Beterbiev and the fear of the counter. Bivol landed cleanly because Beterbiev was fighting more open but Bivol fought in counter punching mode and in moments however there weren’t enough of these moments to give Bicol the win, particularly as Beterbiev was coming into the fight with 3 belts… overall good fight never the less.

Not a close fight, I'd say beterbiev won by 3 or 4 rounds, landed the same amount even if accuracy is less his do and did more damage, bivol landed all fluff shots fast but no power constantly holding on for his life. Crazy to think Beterbiev coming back 5 months in from a knee surgery that usually takes a yr to "heal" and yet he walked down the boxer. You can tell the knee slowed him down. He was not as quick as he was against Yarde or Smith. Either way I had Beterbiev winning, 7 to 5 rounds.
