SOUND: Very good. Glad to see you finally got to Beth Hart. Excuse me for a moment. I was raised Southern Baptist. I have to stand up and walk around, hands over head, testifying. A-m-e-n!🤷♀️ This was live at the Paradiso in the Netherlands. They oversold tickets and the place was packed. Beth's people filmed this entire concert (Amazon carries it). Just think of it ... this is just 1 of 15 songs she did at that concert. Beth was born severely bipolar. A broken, damaged family life. Being ashamed of her mental illness. Self-medicating with booze and drugs. She was even committed for a time. THIS is from when she was already completely clean again. All that pain comes up, from the soles of her feet, and spirals up and out through her vocal chords. She SANGS the blues because she's lived the blues ... as so very many of us have. ✨ Church is over for now.

This was recorded in Amsterdam in 2004. Beth was on the road to recovery and they booked a much smaller room at the venue. Because of the great demand from her fans, the show was moved to the large theater at Paradiso. This is why Beth and the band were so appreciative of the crowd that night. I posted some thoughts on BH tunes. KZbin stripped out my links but I can message or email them to you. Thanks for the review/reaction! Am I The One - She's been playing this since the Star Search days. Beth says she made a spectacle of herself in the early days because of her bi-polar insecurity. This is hard to watch because the manic personality is RIGHT there but it is necessary to understand where she is coming from. These days, her medication is dialed in and her performances, while great are missing the CRAZY that oozes out of every frame of this video Completed Baddest Blues - An ode to Billy Holiday and her Mother. Plenty of great concert performances but the acoustic version always gets me @ Leave the Light On - After Beth's complete breakdown in her late 20s she wasn't sure she could or should try to make music again. This was the first song she wrote on her way back. It hurts to watch her perform this as she bares her soul. There are many outstanding performances. Heres's one of my faves @ Tell Her You Belong To Me - My wife's favorite Beth Hart song. I went years not knowing this was about her father. Written to the woman her father married after divorcing Beth's Mom. She din't have a relationship with her father again for nearly 20 years. There are tons of great concert performances of this song but the acoustic suits this intimate heartbreak. Goosebumps! @ A Change Is Gonna Come - Now that you have a little of Beth's background you know how personal this song is to her. You know you have the vocal chops when you sound this good on someone's cell phone. All the feels! @ Caught Out In The Rain - About being in a relationship with someone you know is T-R-O-U-B-L-E but you just can't help yourself. Video proper starts at the @ mark Completed. Great version chosen by the way Honorable mentions: Sister Heroine, Love Is A Lie and Your Heart Is Black As Night Don't drown in the Beth Hart pool... the waters are dark, deep and dangerous ... and then there is the whole other chapter of music with Joe Bonamassa. They have done 3 albums together and there are many outstanding youtube video performances. I'd start with this one @

Beth Hart is the performer songwriter singer plays guitar keyboards she’s phenomenal you can never go wrong listening to Beth Hart she has so many songs albums that express what we all go through she is my number one artist my go to artist and fortunately I know Beth and her family personally we see her at shows, but we also know her behind the scenes, we’ve laughed, & cried together, an had a lot of WTF moments lol. she loves people & the world also has had many struggles in life , and with her strength and courage to share in her trials in life with us so that we too can not feel alone and heal too. And hey who wouldn’t want to listen to some kick ass fucking jams!!! she can take you places you never thought you could go. As u experienced here, it speaks for itself. I love you Beth my sister my friend keep jammin stay safe and dude Do yourself a favor keep her in the top three or more and Plz keep doing reactions videos of her music this was in 2004 an older video she has many colors to her songs. While hanging out she said to me“ You know the older I get, I change, life changes & all I know is to write & sing abt it, it’s how I keep from going crazy, & if I can touch 1 person, help another person bc of the messed up stuff I went through, then I know I’m walking the right path, maybe I won’t “F” it up, I’m just thankful to be alive”!!! She’s the real deal !!!! So glad u have now experienced BETH, one of a kind. A new song out 2019 she’s so proud of & we talked about before it’s release “Thankful” from “ War in my mind” album. I always prefer her live, she engages the audience. Other songs, Leave the light on, LA Song, Guilty, I’d rather go Blind, Face forward son, Mama, Skin, Sister heroin, Take it easy on me, Geeezzz so many more. BYW “ AM I THE ONE” she was singing to her now husband of 18 yrs, Scott the blond guy that helped her on stage. Have a jamming day!!!!

found it. and honestly I can't even rate greatness like this....I mean Joplin obviously, Prince, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Zeppelin , Queen, even Johnny Lang have all had this level of performances in their own right. ..and I may add IMO as amazing as she and Stapleton for example are with POWER the same emotion can be done other ways some do it with runs, some do it with Rage, and some do it with "finesse" like Eva Cassidy, Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, Otis Redding Joss Stone to name a few and I could go on but I think you get the point. To me this is what makes it hard for me to "rank" these performances, but no doubt this is world class top of the heap.. Anyway, Glad I found you because those of us who see music the way you do are rare these days it seems, I hope the world evolves and proves me wrong!

The first time I watched/heard this live performance on KZbin I cried because of the sheer power, emotion, and sensuality Beth exudes in this performance. My whole body shook, I was laughing and crying because my body didn't know how to process the power of this woman. This part gets a bit TMI but I feel like others could relate. One day I was home alone watching KZbin and I put the song on really loud and laid back in my chair and I let the song into my body and I had a full body orgasm.
