Hey Beth, a pleasure to join you again! Love those new projects - the yarn play in that unnamed checkered sweater is so lovely - it will be fun to stash dive and play with combinations and find a fun colour shifting yarn... and yes, isn't it so nice to get the Christmas tree up!! I decorated our 2 trees just a few days ago.🎄Working away on my Get Out of the Pool ribbing, so that one will be a pleasure to finish and wear! Cheers, enjoy the lovely, sparkly Christmas lights - they look like they would very nicely coordinate with a glass of Prosecco, lol! Judith 💜💚

Oh yes - I agree! Will definitely add prosecco - if for no other reason than to coordinate with the decor! 😉 Thanks Judith for watching. I totally agree, the checked design will be great for stash diving. At this gauge you could marl fingering weight scraps and create a fabulous fade. Great ideas thank you!!!❤

Oh it's a game changer! Do try and its quite easy. Some KZbin videos I found confused/complicated it so do look for a very simple explanation - that's all you need. Good luck!

I have found a good way to count those rows is to use a piece of scrap yarn as a running marker and flip it every 10 rows. I find it much less distracting in my knitting.

I do that too.

Hey Beth! I love all the sweaters that you have design stage right now. The flowers that are bottom up do you think it will be easy to discern in the pattern if one doesn’t wanna put the flowers on the backside and just limit them to the front?An idea to insert into the pattern? I’m loving everything that’s coming from you these days thanks so much.
@bethmacdonaldstone3 күн бұрын
This sweater is knit in the round (not flat) so would be very hard to work with just the flowers on the front. The only way to do that would be to entirely modify the pattern for it to be knit in pieces and seamed. Easy to do one off, but not my intention for this design. Thanks so much! Maybe a good idea for a future design, stay tuned 😉❤

Would it possible to design a sport weight version of entredeux?
@bethmacdonaldstone3 күн бұрын
That would be very simple to work out yourself. If you figure out your gauge on sport weight and the sts required to fit your bust, you can then transpose that to the pattern and use the size that would get you those st numbers or closest to them. Very easy to do. ❤

My daughter in law knits socks for sale ar a local dhop and she knits 2 at a time on magic loop. They always turn out the same.
@bethmacdonaldstone3 күн бұрын
Yes that's definitely a great way of knitting and ensuring the same results. I have done this too and with sleeves but find it is fiddly and actually slows me down. Perfect for your DIL if it works for her!

Wait, wait, wait! As a Canadian living in Bermuda (a self governing British Overseas Territory), you celebrate AMERICAN Thanksgiving? I'm confused. What am I missing?
@bethmacdonaldstone3 күн бұрын
ha, ha! Canadian Thanksgiving is in early October and it's still just waaaayyy too hot. The end of November has more of the Thanksgiving feel here in Bermuda and so honestly its more recognized island wide. Additionally, my husband's family, while all Bermudian, have American leanings and so it just makes more sense. Thanks for watching!
@shamszakhour60763 күн бұрын
@@bethmacdonaldstone Ahhhhh. That makes a certain kind of sense, I guess. I know that Canadian Thanksgiving is much earlier. Happy holidays!
